ROH World Tag Team Champion Sammy Guevara def. Aaron SoloDustin Rhodes has been making quite a bit of appearances on AEW programming as of late without Guevara, which makes you wonder what the point of them teaming even is at this point. Guevara's a good talent and he can obviously go in the ring, but it's difficult to care about him as a character these days, especially when he's facing lower-level guys like Solo. This simply seemed to exist for no other reason than to get Guevara on the show. Queen Aminata def. Allysin KayIt's wild to think Kay is still getting a "jobber" entrance after all these years despite being established, but I guess that's because she isn't signed to Ring of Honor or AEW (for some reason). Nonetheless, this was perfectly fine for what it was. The commentators acknowledged Aminata's recent winning streak, but you'd never know it because it has yet to amount to anything notable. ROH World Television Champion Komander vs. Lee Johnson in an ROH World Television Championship Proving Ground Match Ended in a Time-Limit DrawKomander just had a Proving Ground match with QT Marshall end in a time-limit draw a few weeks ago, so I thought there was no way it would happen here, too. Well, I was wrong. Talk about lazy booking. I would've rather seen Johnson win a number one contender's match to earn an opportunity at the title instead of outlasting the champ the same way Marshall did. It was a well-worked match, but hopefully their championship rematch is better. Serpentico def. Brandon CutlerI can understand Serpentico's appeal as the lovable loser of ROH, but I can't say the same for Cutler. I have no clue why he continues to make appearances on even ROH TV when there's so many other people who aren't being used. The guy's a goof and has zero value on these shows. The commentators mentioned that these two previously feuded on Dark: Elevation years ago. Who cares? This was a waste of time. Blake Christian def. Evil UnoI've said before that Christian needs to start beating contracted talent in order for his heel turn to matter, so Uno was a step in the right direction. Granted, Uno is hardly relevant in 2025, but again, it's better than Christian beating some random no-namer. This was decent and I get why it was competitive, but it would've meant more for Christian to put Uno away quicker than he did. ROH Women's World Television Champion Red Velvet def. Leila GreyI applaud Grey for improving in the last few years, but I'm sorry, she does not belong in the main event slot. The same goes for Velvet. She's infinitely more interesting as a heel, but her in-ring work still leaves a bit to be desired. As a result, this was a fairly average outing without much uncertainty surrounding the outcome. I assume Velvet is killing time until she defends against Leyla Hirsch at Death Before Dishonor? Overall ShowEven if you take out the replay of the old match that was featured (this week it was Samoa Joe vs. Tony Deppen from two years ago), this was an absolutely nothing show. They've had much worse editions of ROH TV that had way more matches that felt like they'd never end. That said, very little was actually accomplished on this episode and thus it's not worth checking out.
