Wheeler Yuta def. Alex ZayneZayne has made a handful of appearances in Ring of Honor over the last five years, but this marked his first ROH appearance since Supercard of Honor in April 2024. He's a talented dude, so I'm glad he returned here. As for Yuta, I don't understand what purpose his matches on ROH TV are supposed to serve when he isn't being built up for anything. He'll pick up the occasional win and that's about it. This was a nice match, but it felt meaningless. Spanish Announce Project def. Eddie Pearl and Ricky GibsonYes, that is the same Ricky who almost teamed with Kevin Owens against A-Town Down Under on WWE SmackDown last fall and immediately got over with the audience. Despite that, I still don't think this needed to be as competitive as it was considering Pearl and Gibson are just an enhancement team by ROH standards. This was similar to the opener in that it gave Spanish Announce Project a victory, but there didn't seem to be another reason why it existed. Serena Deeb def. B3CCA in a Pure Rules MatchFor a while, B3CCA was pretty prominently featured in MLW, but then she disappeared from the promotion and never returned. She's also looking a little different than the last time I saw her there, whenever that would've been. At any rate, this was your standard showcase for Deeb, who has to be considered a frontrunner (along with Deonna Purrazzo) to win this new (completely pointless) ROH Women's Pure Championship. Trish Adora was shown signing something down or writing something down afterward, so it's possible they have a match at Supercard of Honor. The Infantry def. Top Flight in an ROH World Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contender's MatchAlthough Top Flight are a bigger team than The Infantry, I had no issue with The Infantry winning here considering The Sons of Texas are babyface ROH World Tag Team Champions, so it will be a better dynamic at Supercard of Honor. This was an enjoyable main event with quality action. The Infantry cheated in the end, so Top Flight were protected in defeat. Overall ShowThe show was just over 40 minutes long and that's probably the perfect length for ROH TV these days if it isn't going to feature much of significance. We now know who will challenge for the ROH World Tag Team Championship at Supercard of Honor, but the rest of the episode was fairly inconsequential. On the bright side, a handful of matches have been officially announced for next Friday's pay-per-view, and although the card is only half complete, I'm sure it will deliver as most ROH pay-per-views do.
