Thunder Rosa and Persephone def. Dulce Tormenta and Leila GreyPeresphone and Tormenta are CMLL talents and Grey is obviously a regular in Ring of Honor, but Rosa? What the hell was she doing here? I'm all for giving ROH TV a shot of star power every now and again, but this feels like a significant demotion for her, especially if there aren't any imminent plans in place for her in AEW. This was a well-worked match, but my top takeaway is that Rosa deserves better. The Frat House (Griff Garrison and Cole Karter) def. Braxton Hunter and Dale SpringsFrat House were advertised as having an "initiation," but we've seen this before where they'll just beat up the dudes holding their flag and that turns into an impromptu match. Thus, this played out predictably and wasn't very interesting. Frat House are becoming the new Iron Savages where they're featured almost weekly despite being a terrible act, except they win more (meaningless) matches. In short, this was a waste of time. Wheeler Yuta def. Aaron SoloSolo was a strange opponent for Yuta considering both guys are heels. Technically, there was nothing wrong with the match, but it was painfully average. I know Yuta has history in ROH, but I'd rather the Death Riders garbage be exclusively relegated to AEW at this point instead of bleeding over to ROH (I'm looking at you, Marina Shafir). This was needlessly competitive. ROH Women's World Champion Athena def. Rachel Armstrong in an ROH Women's World Championship Proving Ground MatchThis marked Athena's first match in either AEW or ROH since losing to Mercedes Mone in the semifinals of the Owen Hart Cup on Dynamite back in April. I doubt she was injured, so she's just been away for no real reason. She has to be the most underutilized wrestler on AEW's payroll, right? I'm aware she's held the ROH Women's World Championship for two-and-a-half years, but that doesn't mean much. She belongs on AEW TV, as does Rosa, but instead, it looks like they're going to feud in ROH. There's your match for Supercard of Honor, folks. Overall ShowThe most eventful thing that happened all episode was the vignette that aired at the end hyping the return of Dalton Castle, who has been out injured since last summer. That's worth getting excited about, but that's about it as far as the status of ROH heading into Supercard of Honor next month. This was your usual inconsequential edition of ROH TV, but I appreciated that it was only 40 minutes.
