ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Shane Taylor Promotions (The Infantry and Shane Taylor) def. TMDK (Mikey Nicholls, Shane Haste and Robbie Eagles)I've been saying for a few weeks that TMDK should be in line for a shot at the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship, so I'm glad we got this match. Granted, it would have been nice had they advertised this in advance on ROH TV, but oh well. This was an enjoyable opener while it lasted. Boom & Doom made the save for TMDK afterward because they'll be facing The Infantry on the Revolution Zero Hour pre-show. CMLL World Women's Champion Persephone def. Gin Zevani (Non-Title)Persephone just failed to beat Willow Nightingale for the AEW TBS Championship on Wednesday's Dynamite, so it felt like this existed to get her back in the win column. It wasn't exactly ideal for her to lose on AEW TV five days after dethroning Mercedes Mone as CMLL World Women's champ, but I'm happy she's getting more exposure. This was another standard showcase for her on ROH TV. Rush def. BEEFRush just returned to the ring on Collision last week. He was out injured for a few months, but before he had to take time off, he was in line for an ROH World Championship opportunity against Bandido. Hopefully he can still get that shot soon because those two have proven in the past that they work really well together. He squashed BEEF here as he should have. Wheeler Yuta def. SerpenticoYuta was sporting a new look here, not only with the shaved head but also with the trunks instead of the pants he's been wearing for years now. I appreciate his attempt to switch things up, but I can't say I'm any more invested in his character than I was before. He still just exists on the Ring of Honor roster to rack up wins and not do much else. Why was this long as it was? Ace Austin def. K.M.I believe K.M. works as an agent for AEW, hence why he pops up occasionally on ROH to do a job. That was once again the case here, where it worked because of the size difference between him and Austin. Of course, he was always going to win, but at least they told something of a story. I'm still waiting for Austin to break out in either AEW or ROH and not just spin his wheels. Marina Shafir def. Danielle KamelaShafir will be facing Toni Storm at Revolution in a match where everyone will be banned from ringside, so this was timely. Kamela has popped up on AEW programming in the past but is probably best known for her stint in WWE NXT several years ago. I don't know why Shafir needed to take her time dominating Kamela, especially since it wasn't interesting and the outcome was never in doubt. Ortiz, Eddie Kingston and Top Flight def. MxM Collection and RPG ViceIt was over for RPG Vice as soon as it was announced they were teaming with MxM Collection. It's not like RPG Vice win a whole lot of matches these days, either, but they're a bit more prominently featured on AEW TV as members of The Don Callis Family than MxM Collection. At any rate, this was a fun eight-man tag team main event with the babyfaces going over as they should have. Overall ShowThis was taped in front of a live crowd as opposed to at the new Jacksonville studio ROH TV has emanated from the last two weeks (including a day ago). It was a much better atmosphere with the crowd being livelier, but I understand that wasn't always the case when ROH TV was taped before or after Dynamite or Collision. Either way, this was a solid special edition of ROH TV with last-minute build for a couple of matches at Revolution.
