Mistico, Neon and Fuego def. Rugido, Volador Jr. and Hechicero

You can pretty much take what I've said about any CMLL-centric tag team match on ROH TV as of late and apply it here because it probably isn't much different. All of these CMLL guys are talented from what I've seen, but the matches themselves don't matter because there's no stakes and the teams are always random. They're good for some enjoyable action, but that's about it.

La Catalina def. Viva Van

Catalina fell short of beating Athena for the ROH Women's World Championship a few weeks ago, so this felt like it was designed to be a rebound win for her. This was a nice little sprint while it lasted with both women having solid showings. Maybe Catalina can set her sights on the ROH Women's World Television Championship if she's going to be sticking around (and it's not like Red Velvet has much competition at the moment).

La Faccion Ingobernable (Dralistico and The Beast Mortos) def. Eli Theseus and Gabriel Aeros

It was weird seeing Mortos go from being pushed as a singles star with some squash match wins recently to teaming with Dralistico again here, but at least Mortos is racking up wins, that's all that matters. This was a pretty straightforward showcase for LFI, and hopefully with a few more victories they can enter ROH World Tag Team Championship contention (I'm not holding my breath, though).

AR Fox vs. Kevin Knight in an ROH World Television Championship No. 1 Contender's Match Ended in a 10-Minute Time Limit

Both of these guys are great and I would've been content with either of them winning. I'm glad they were given a chance to have the fun they were capable of, but I have no idea why this only had a 10-minute time limit. There's a lot of matches I wish only went 10 minutes and this was not one of them. Perhaps both of them end up getting a shot at the TV title in a three-way with Komander?

Satnam Singh def. Sid Ellington

Lethal teamed with Singh within the last month on ROH TV, which was interesting because they hadn't teamed on television (including in AEW) in quite some time. Singh was on his own here, so we'll see if he's definitely done with Lethal or if this was just a one-off to give him more in-ring experience. This was total domination as it should have been. I will say this, though: If Singh hasn't shown significant signs of improvement in the three or four years he's been under contract to AEW, it might be time to move on.

Top Flight def. Aaron Solo and QT Marshall

Top Flight are apparently still feuding with Lio Rush and Action Andretti based on what we saw on last week's Collision, in case anyone cares. I mention that because it would've been silly for Top Flight to lose to Marshall and Solo here, so thankfully, that didn't happen. The match itself was fine and the heels played their roles well, but this ultimately wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

The Outrunners Attacked The Infantry

This was basically a segment for the live crowd where The Outrunners were hanging out wit ha local mascot and got the better of The Infantry with trash cans. This really didn't need to air, especially since the game they were referring to already happened. On the bright side, it got The Outrunners some screen time. They seem to be more concerned with doing this sort of stuff than chasing the ROH World Tag Team Championship.

ROH World Television Champion Komander def. Dark Panther

I appreciated that this was advertised several weeks in advance. Granted, it didn't make the end result any less predictable, but it did make it feel like a worthy main event for this show, in addition to it being an entertaining outing. Komander continues to kill it in these title defenses and Panther looked impressive in defeat. The men's TV title is basically the top championship on the show with ROH World Champion Chris Jericho barely having a presence.

Overall Show

I'm curious how long the CMLL stuff will last on ROH TV. It's produced plenty of quality matches, but most of them have suffered from a lack of purpose. Komander is doing his thing and the men's TV title is consistently featured, but I can't say the same for the rest of the belts on the brand. The shorter runtime has made ROH TV more bearable, but I wish we got less enhancement matches that are largely pointless in the long run.
