Wheeler Yuta def. Matt MakoIt's almost impossible for me to take Yuta seriously as a threat to any of the top stars in AEW these days, and it doesn't help when he has a competitive match with a nobody like Mako. To be fair, it was mentioned by the commentators that Mako is a former MMA fighter, but that was the only shred of credibility he had. This was fine, but it lasted longer than it needed to considering it should've have been a quick squash for Yuta. Trish Adora def. Rachael ElleringI don't want to give Tony Khan credit by saying that this match was intended to be a preview of the ROH Women's Pure Championship Tournament, but it wasn't even a Pure Rules match, so in reality, it was just random. Both of these women are skilled and the match was solid, but they've been directionless for ages, but this felt like filler. In other words, I don't have hope Adora is being built up for anything meaningful. The Frat House (Griff Garrison and Cole Karter) def. The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Alex Reynolds)An extended feud between Dark Order and Frat House is the ultimate cure for insomnia. Nothing against the talent involved in this match, but all four of these guys are extremely average and there was little reason to care about this contest (though they did what they could to get the crowd invested in the action). Although this was perfectly passable, I'm not sure what purpose it was supposed to serve. ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions The Von Erichs and ROH World Tag Team Champions The Sons of Texas def. Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari) and MxM CollectionI'm always surprised to see The Von Erichs with the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship because they've hardly defended them over the last year. I have no idea why those belts were even brought back after being unified with the AEW World Trios Championship at one point. Nonetheless, this was a nice, well-worked main event. CRU coming out afterward helped hype their AEW World Tag Team Championship number one contender's match with Sons of Texas on Collision. Overall ShowI can't complain about a show as short as this because it breezed by and there wasn't anything egregiously wrong with it. That said, as is usually the case, not a single thing was worth seeking out from this episode. I'm constantly wondering who the champions are because most of the belts are barely represented most weeks and a majority of the matches are inconsequential. It's a sad state of affairs with Ring of Honor at the moment. What's even the point other than continuing to employ a ton of undercard competitors?
