La Catalina def. Trish AdoraCatalina has been getting plenty of reps on ROH TV this year, but even after unsuccessfully challenging for both the ROH Women's World Championship and the ROH Women's World Television Championship, she's sticking around, and according to the commentators, she might have her sights set on the new ROH Women's Pure Championship. This was a well wrestled match from these two, but it lacked purpose and a sense of urgency. Lance Archer def. Diego HillArcher has been on AEW TV a decent amount lately, though he hasn't done much aside from guard Don Callis whenever he's on commentary. There's virtually zero chance he'll be pushed at a meaningful level at this point (he is 48 after all), but that's a fine role for him to be in. This was one of his usual straightforward squashes. Bonus points for him winning with a submission for a change and also channeling his inner White Goodman by yelling "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood!" at Hill after getting busted open. ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty def. Matt Mako in a Pure Rules MatchThis was filmed at the ACTION DEAN~!!!2 event that Ring of Honor was involved with over the weekend. Upon looking it up, I discovered that it's been a few months since Moriarty last defended his ROH Pure Championship on ROH TV, so this was a refreshing change of pace. Granted, there was no way he was losing it to some dude who isn't on the roster, but they had a quality contest for as long as this lasted. Blue Panther, Hologram, Neon, Valiente and Virus def. Averno, Dr. Cerebro, Euforia, Volador Jr. and Xelhua in 10-Man CiberneticoThis was also from the ACTION DEAN~!!!2 event. I wasn't sure what Cinernetico was until it became clear that it was just an elimination tag team match. Due to the vast amount of people involved, this went for a while and featured the lucha action you'd expect. It actually felt like a glorified version of the matches with the CMLL talent we tend to see on ROH TV, but keep in mind that's coming from someone who doesn't watch any CMLL otherwise. It's possible that's just what a majority of their matches are. Satnam Singh def. FacadeSingh keeps racking up squash wins. No, I don't think it's a sign of anything, so don't expect to see him on Dynamite or Collision in the foreseeable future. They're probably just giving him matches to justify his spot on the roster because he's been spinning his wheels for years. The best thing I can say about the matches he's having is that they're relatively short and inoffensive, so no complaints here. Rhino and Hologram def. The Frat House (Griff Garrison and Cole Karter)This must have been taped when AEW was in Detroit and Rhino returned there, even though that was weeks ago. Hologram and Rhino were a rather random team, but the crowd didn't seem to mind and neither did I. Frat House just got their asses kicked on Wednesday's Dynamite and this was more of the same, though it was a tad more competitive. This marked Rhino's first ROH appearance since October 2014, which would've been right before he returned to WWE. Overall ShowThe footage from the ACTION DEAN~!!!2 event came out of nowhere since I didn't see it advertised on social media beforehand (unless I missed it), but because they were new, full-length matches I'd never seen before, I checked them out and they were solid. I'm curious to see if that sort of thing becomes the norm on ROH TV going forward just to fill out the hour. Rhino returning was a treat, but this was an inconsequential show as always.
