ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Shane Taylor Promotions (The Infantry and Shane Taylor) def. BEEF and The Workhorsemen

I appreciate that this has had a bit of buildup and didn't come completely out of nowhere. Granted, I never bought into the possibility of The Workhorsemen and BEEF winning the titles, but it was nice to have a match with stakes on this show for a change. Rush even interfered to further La Faccion Ingobernable's feud with the trio, though I don't know that they needed to be protected in defeat. This felt like a glorified squash for Shane Taylor Promotions and I'm not complaining.

SkyFlight (Scorpio Sky and Top Flight) def. "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard and The Kingdom

Did we ever get Menard against Daniel Garcia one-on-one? Even if so, I suppose it doesn't make much of a difference because not many would care, anyway. Having him team with The Kingdom was certainly random, but it gave SkyFlight more credibility when they won. It also got them closer to challenging for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship. This was a nice match for the time it was allotted.

The Don Callis Family (Hechicero and Lance Archer) def. The OXP and Orion

A video package promoting Big Boom! A.J. and QT Marshall vs. The Don Callis Family at Full Gear aired before this bout, so it looks like it will Hechicero and Archer representing the group at the event unless Rocky Romero (who was ringside here) fills in for Hechicero. This was total domination for Hechicero and Archer as it should have been as they made quick work of their opponents.

Yuka Sakazaki and Alex Windsor def. Taya Valkyrie and Robyn Renegade

The commentators mentioned more than once that Sakazaki is in the ROH Women's Pure Championship Tournament, yet she won't be facing any of these women in the first round. Rather, Serena Deeb will be her opponent, so I'm not sure what purpose it was supposed to serve other than to kill time (especially with Windsor teaming with Riho in the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship Tournament). This was fine, but Valkyria eating the pinfall loss instead of Renegade was questionable.

Deonna Purrazzo def. Trish Adora in an ROH Women's Pure Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Match

These tournament matches have 60-minute time limits?! Good grief. The Pure Rules matches are boring as it is and giving to that gimmick to the women hasn't helped at all. No disrespect to either of these ladies, who are both talented, but this was a very dull match. Purrazzo was the correct choice to advance, but this tourney is moving so slowly that it's impossible to care about any of it.

The Death Riders (Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta) def. Angelica Risk and Aaron Solo

Only the most irrelevant members of Death Riders seem to wrestle on ROH TV. It's bad enough they're still prominently featured on AEW TV, so I'd appreciate if they weren't on ROH TV weekly as well. This was a serviceable match designed to give Death Riders another win, not that it means anything. I hope a loss for Death Riders in Blood and Guts next week can set the stage for their split, but I'm not holding my breath.

Satnam Singh def. Gino Adonis

Every once in a while, we'll get an enhancement match for Singh on ROH TV, whether he's on his own or teaming with Jay Lethal. I assume these matches are just an excuse to justifying paying him because he hasn't been involved in anything of note in ages. The best thing I can say about this is that it didn't overstay its welcome and was thankfully kept short and sweet.

The Swirl def. Alex Zayne and Willie Mack

I'm confused as to whether The Swirl is being built up for a shot at the ROH World Tag Team Championship or if each of them are aiming for an opportunity at the ROH World Championship. It looked like the latter at one point, but neither of them feel like a threat, regardless. This the usual well-wrestled affair from the two of them against some skilled opponents and one of the better bouts on the show, but it'd be great if they could establish direction for The Swirl.

ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty vs. Komander in an ROH Pure Championship Proving Ground Match Ended in a Time-Limit Draw

Komander is coming off a tag team win in the main event of last week's episode, so it was logical for him to be put in this Proving Ground match. Unfortunately, Moriarty has had so many of these matches that they stopped being interesting a long time ago. This was solid but didn't really pick up until the closing stretch. I guess this means it will be Moriarty vs. Komander for the ROH Pure Championship at Final Battle.

Overall Show

ROH TV has no business featuring nine matches when almost all of them are pointless. This wasn't a terrible show by any means, but it was largely inconsequential. No matches have been officially announced for Final Battle despite it coming up in a month, but it was confirmed that Athena will be defending the ROH Women's World Championship against Harley Cameron on ROH TV in two weeks.
