The System (Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers) def. The Order, The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel) and Sinner and Saint in a Four-Way Tag Team MatchThis was basically a showcase of TNA's current tag team division. It wasn't a number one contender's match since this was from a while ago, but from an in-ring standpoint, it was fun and well wrestled. The System are coming off a win in Hardcore War at Bound for Glory, so I can see them being next in line for a shot at the TNA World Tag Team Championship, possibly as soon as Victory Road. Dani Luna def. Jody ThreatI'm surprised we didn't get this match before now, or at least while Luna's been a heel. At one point, it looked like we'd get it at Bound for Glory, but they ended up being a part of the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Battle Royal instead. This actually would have been perfect for Victory Road because it doesn't need much buildup, but perhaps they can run it back there with a stipulation. Regardless, this was a good match from them with the correct outcome. TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys def. The Colons in an El Paso Street Fight (Non-Title)The Colons haven't appeared in TNA in many months, so I assume this was from earlier in the year. Needless to say, there was no way The Colons were winning here, but The Hardys are so popular that the predictability hardly mattered. The Street Fight stipulation made it more enjoyable as they played the hits. As previously noted, I can see The System challenging The Hardys for the TNA World Tag Team Championship next, but the problem is that we already saw that match a ton of times throughout 2024. Mike Santana def. Cedric AlexanderThis was obviously filmed before Santana won the TNA World Championship at Bound for Glory. Alexander has been a blast to watch in TNA and I hope he sticks around (despite his contract reportedly expiring last month) so we can get more matches like this. For the time allotted, this was an entertaining main event with both guys having strong showings and the action delivering. Overall ShowI remember when Open Fight Night was a monthly occurrence on iMPACT! back in 2012. I don't know that we've seen it since then, but it was perfect gimmick for this show, where they aired never-before-seen matches. Sure, none of them were storyline significant, but it made it more worthwhile than any other edition of iMPACT! that has aired since the pay-per-view a month ago. Thankfully, next week's show will be live from Full Sail University. There was also a sit-down interview with TNA Knockouts World Champion Kelani Jordan on this episode where she explained her heel turn and addressed several members of the Knockouts division.
