The Rascalz (Wes Lee, Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel) def. Speedball Mountain and KushidaI expected The Rascalz' reunion in TNA to be a one-off at Slammiversary, so I was stoked to see it extend into this episode. They had another really fun match and had strong chemistry with Speedball Mountain and Kushida. Lee and Wentz (the former MSK) will challenge Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the NXT Tag Team Championship on Tuesday's edition of WWE NXT and I'm hoping they win so they can defend the titles across two companies. Rosemary def. KristaraRosemary has been stalking Ash by Elegance for a while now, which is why Rosemary got involved in Ash's TNA Knockouts World Championship match at Slammiversary (if I'm remembering correctly). This was a standard squash win to formally reintroduce her. Apparently, she hadn't competed for TNA in months, so I'm glad she's back in the ring and a match with Ash seems imminent. Frankie Kazarian def. Ryan NemethI assume Kazarian will be Nic Nemeth's next big TNA World Championship challenger considering Kazarian attacked Nic in the buildup to Slammiversary. Thus, it was only logical that Kazarian beat his brother here. This was a well wrestled yet mostly basic bout. Ryan will probably stay in the role of enhancement talent in TNA, though he's definitely higher up on the totem pole than he was in AEW. Jody Threat def. TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champion Masha SlamovichIt looks like Spitfire aren't done with Slamovich and Alisha Edwards despite losing to them at Slammiversary. Then again, I can't say I'm surprised since the women's tag team scene isn't exactly deep at the moment. Threat and Slamovich had a decent match. Threat winning gets them one step closer to a rematch for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship. Mike Santana def. Campaign SinghSantana has felt totally directionless since the Steve Maclin feud ended, but at least he's got a winning streak going after beating Jake Something at Slammiversary and Singh here. There wasn't much to the match, but there didn't need to be since Singh is a job guy, anyway. What I really liked what his intense post-match promo and how he establish his intentions to target The System. TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth def. Mustafa AliAlthough the finish felt abrupt, this was a very good match on the whole. The title wasn't in any real jeopardy of changing hands since Nemeth just won it, but they delivered. It was cool that this was treated as a big deal with it being the first TNA World Championship match on television since November. Later in the night, Ali posted on X that his was his TNA farewell for now, which is what I expected when this was set up last week. Matt Cardona Crashed TNA Digital Media Champion and International Wrestling Heavyweight Champion PCO and Steph De Lander's WeddingWrestling weddings are usually entertaining and this one was no exception. It held my interest throughout and everyone played their respective roles nicely. I figured someone would crash it, but I totally forgot about Cardona, who has been out injured for a while now. Hopefully he's close to being cleared because a feud between him and PCO over the TNA Digital Media Championship (and De Lander) makes a lot of sense. Overall ShowThis show looked loaded on paper and it lived up to its potential. I thoroughly enjoyed the opener, Nemeth vs. Ali and the wedding and everything else was solid. I appreciate that TNA hasn't wasted any time in following up on the top-notch Slammiversary show with several storylines taking shape and having a hot atmosphere in Montreal has certainly helped.
