"Broken" Matt Hardy and Ryan Nemeth Crashed The System's Championship CelebrationComing out of Under Siege, every member of The System is now a champion, so it made sense for them to hold their own championship celebration to start this show. Hardy interrupting was predictable, but Nemeth helping him out was an interesting twist. The guy never won a match that mattered in AEW, so I truly don't care about him being in TNA and can't possibly see him as a threat, but this was designed to set up next week's huge tag team match involving them. First Class def. The FBI (Ray Jaz and Zack Clayton)Guido continues to accompany Jaz and Clayton to the ring. Although I like this new rendition of The FBI and appreciate them being an addition to TNA's tag division, they're been branded as a jobber team so far, so it'll be tough to get fans to care about them long-term. This was a simple showcase for First Class and it didn't overstay its welcome. It also gave the heels another win as they resume their rivalry with Joe Hendry. The Rascalz def. Cody Deaner and Jake Something in an Albany Tornado Tag Team MatchDeaner is doing a new gimmick before his matches where he acts crazy and adds a stipulation to this matches. Making this a tornado tag team match made it more interesting and it turned out to be a fairly fun, competitive contest. This reunion with Jake and Cody hasn't gone all that well as they've lost a lot lately, but it was more important for The Rascalz to pick up the win here. Are they about to turn face with Steve Maclin attacking them afterward? Xia Brookside Interrupted Gabby LaSpisa's Interview with Ash by EleganceMan, none of this was good, at all. I know LaSpisa used to be on Busted Open and she has her own podcast now, but she didn't play her role well and neither did Ash. I realize they're to make Ash feel like a big deal on purpose because that's her gimmick, but the rematch between her and Brookside could have been executed some other way. It accomplished that much, so at least it wasn't completely pointless. Jonathan Gresham def. Will FerraraI remember Ferrara from his Ring of Honor days. He and Gresham have that in common. They could have had a very well-wrestled match, but that's not what this was about. It was a total squash for Gresham to establish his new Great Muta-esque character. His updated look is awesome, but heavily relying on the mist is going to have a short shelf life I feel. He's in the process of racking up victories before settling into his first feud back. Speedball Mountain def. ABC to Advance to a TNA X-Division Championship No. 1 Contender's MatchBy the virtue of their victory, Mike Bailey and Trent Seven will now face each other next week with a shot at the X-Division title on the line. Why not just do a four-way here in that case? At any rate, I'm glad this was given an ample amount of time so these four could have the match they were capable of. The action was entertaining. Of the two teams, I could see ABC splitting up soon since there's not much more for them to do together. Overall ShowUnder Siege was an inconsequential event last week, but this edition of iMPACT! followed up on it nicely. The main event was the highlight of the night and the fact it had something at stake made it more meaningful. The rest of the show was solid, but TNA recently reset the deck with a lot of their storylines, so I'm waiting to see what we'll be getting heading into July's Slammiversary pay-per-view because there's nothing overly exciting going on at the moment.
