Joe Hendry, Sami Callihan and PCO def. The System (Eddie Edwards, JDC and Moose)This was from October. Hendry has had so many matches with The System this year that this didn't really feel any different from the rest, but it was solid for what it was. Callihan and PCO teaming up was interesting as you'd think they would've feuded by now because of their similar hardcore styles. Don't be shocked to see them in a Monster's Ball match eventually once TNA realizes they haven't faced off yet (unless they have and I'm just misremembering). Jordynne Grace def. Dani LunaThis was from June. I believe these two had a match about a year ago that aired on iMPACT! as it was around that time that Luna got signed. Luna has primarily been a tag team wrestler this year with Jody Threat, so it was good to see her get a chance to shine in singles competition for a change. She's a talented competitor and that was evident in this outing. This was solid stuff from her and Grace. Mustafa Ali def. Trent Seven and Leon Slater in a Three-Way MatchThis was also from June. Ali left TNA over the summer right after he lost the TNA X-Division Championship and failed to dethrone Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship, so it's cool that we got a never-before-seen match featuring him here. All three of these guys are great, so unsurprisingly, this was a lot of fun. This was one of the strongest showings I've ever seen Slater have. It's unfortunate him and Ali didn't get to have a full-fledged feud during Ali's TNA tenure. Jake Something def. "Speedball" Mike BaileyThis was from October. Similar to Ali, Bailey is no longer with TNA, or at least it won't be by the end of the year (and he'll reportedly be AEW bound soon after). Thus, I appreciate that he put over Something on the way out in what was an enjoyable encounter. Something has plenty of potential that hasn't been tapped into yet, but considering this was meant to be a dark match, I don't think this will amount to anything. Instead, he'll continue to team with Hammerstone. Joe Hendry and Rhino def. First Class (KC Navarro and A.J. Francis)This was from earlier this month. Hendry ran down Francis in a pre-match promo, which was a nice stroll down memory lane given their lengthy feud in the first half of the year. This was even more of a basic bout than the opener, but again, it was decent for what it was. As I've said before, I've been impressed by the chemistry Navarro and Francis have quickly developed as partners and would like to see them in the TNA World Tag Team Championship mix at some point. PCO def. Moose in a Casket MatchThis was from July. Why this was a Casket match, I have no idea, but they kept it simple and didn't have it drag on for too long. This was a rare instance where I didn't have an issue with the interference because I don't think Moose vs. PCO would have been all that exciting without the shenanigans. This was pretty much what it needed to be, but I could have done without seeing Hendry for a third time on this show. TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth def. Sami Callihan (Non-Title)This was from September. They may as well have put the TNA World Championship on the line since Nemeth was the only champion in any of the matches on the show that came out with their belt because they didn't want to make the matches feel too out of date or confuse viewers (which was smart). This one of the better bouts on the show despite the obvious outcome. Overall ShowIt would've been silly to air any new stuff on Thanksgiving since Turning Point is happening on Friday night, so airing never-before-seen matches instead was an excellent alternative. Granted, you could tell a majority of these matches were dark matches based on how they were wrestled, not to mention we saw a few people multiple times over the course of the two hours, but this ended up being one of those "fine if you saw it, fine if you missed it" type of episodes.
