TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich and Jordynne Grace def. Alisha Edwards and Tasha SteelzAlisha had an injury scare over the summer and I wasn't sure how long she'd be sidelined for, but I'm glad it wasn't for more than a few months (she's still sporting the neck brace, but I assume that's just a kayfabe thing). This was a well-worked match designed to establish Slamovich and Grace as a cohesive unit. There was no sign of dissension, but I imagine we'll get a rematch between the two for the title soon. Rosemary def. Wendy Choo in a No Disqualifications MatchI wish this had aired sooner because Choo's Casket match loss to Tatum Paxley recent on WWE NXT felt more like a write-off for Choo than this, but at least they properly ended the alliance between Rosemary and Choo with Rosemary going over as she should have. For a No Disqualifications match, this was fairly tame, but it Joe Hendry Challenged Ryan NemethHendry said he put together a music video running down all of Nemeth's accomplishments, but since he isn't known for anything other than being Nic Nemeth's brother, that was all the "music video" consisted of. That was pretty funny, and I have no issue with this being kept brief. Hendry definitely feels like he's cooled off and I don't think a mini feud with Ryan Nemeth of all people is the answer, but I understand they want to take their time telling this story. TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champion Jody Threat def. Heather by EleganceAsh by Elegance beat Dani Luna last week, so it was only logical for Heather to face the other half of the tag champs. It's basic booking, but we get it so much with the women's tag team stuff in TNA to the point where it isn't interesting. This was a perfectly passable match and I appreciated that they avoided the obvious outcome. Ash and Heather will, of course, still get a shot at the tag titles, regardless. Moose def. "Speedball" Mike Bailey to Win the TNA X-Division ChampionshipI never thought we'd see Moose challenging for the X-Division title, but here we are. Then again, Bobby Lashley won it back in 2016 and Abyss before that in 2011, so it's not unprecedented. We'll see how he does in the role. The match itself was excellent. They had wonderful chemistry together and Bailey was protected in defeat. As for the post-match angle, I'm honestly surprised Trent Seven didn't betray Bailey sooner. Overall ShowWe got another replay of an old match (this time it was an unaired dark match from June with Hendry and Mike Santana facing Mustafa Ali and Campaign Singh), obviously because of either Chris Bey's injury or El Hijo del Vikingo's injury. Otherwise, this was a thumbs-up episode. The women had a strong presence throughout, Hendry set up his next match, the main event was entertaining and the title change was newsworthy. Everything served a purpose.
