TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace, Masha Slamovich and Sol Ruca def. Tasha Steelz, Rosemary and Wendy Choo

Ruca has been the perfect fit for the Knockouts division in the last few weeks. She has a bright future ahead of her in WWE NXT and she'll only benefit from the extra experience she's getting in TNA. This was a well-worked, spirited six-woman tag team match that the crowd was into. Grace picked up the victory for her team and argued with Slamovich afterward, leading to their other segment a little later on.

First Class Confronted TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth and Joe Hendry

Nemeth and Henry had a good verbal exchange ahead of their TNA World Championship match at Bound for Glory and First Class played their roles well. I liked how A.J. Francis took credit for Henry's surge in popularity and how it was their feud earlier their year that took Hendry to the next level. I thought this would set up a tag bout for next week's show, so I was surprised when Santino Marella came out to announce it as the night's main event instead.

Josh Alexander def. Eric Young

I thought this would be saved for Bound for Glory, but I assume we're going to get some sort of a tag team match instead involving them, Steve Maclin and The Northern Army (Sinner and Saint, Alexander's new allies). Eh, that doesn't sound very interesting. Alexander and Young had their usual quality contest here and Northern Army aiding Alexander to victory made sense.

ABC and The Hardys Saved Mike Santana From The System

Santana and Moose had a stronger than Nemeth and Hendry did, obviously because there's much more bad blood between them. Moose talking trash while standing behind a security crew was a classic heel move and a nice touch. They didn't make their match official for Bound for Glory, but that's clearly the direction they're headed in. ABC and The Hardys making the save for Santana when The System attacked him seamlessly segued into the next match (and foreshadowed the finish).

The Hardys vs. ABC Ended in a No Contest

This wasn't officially billed as a number one contender's match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship, but that seemed to be the implication. This was a fun, fresh match with enjoyable action, though it didn't really get a chance to get going before The System interfered. Marella announced that all three teams will meet in a Full Metal Mayhem matchup for the tag titles at Bound for Glory.

Leon Slater def. Jason Hotch and Laredo Kid in a TNA X-Division Championship No. 1 Contender's Three-Way Match

This was a random collection of talent that we don't see on iMPACT! often, and if we do, they don't have any direction. It was established that the winner would challenge Mike Bailey for the X-Division title on next week's show, so I don't know what that means for Bound for Glory. This was a solid sprint and it was cool seeing Slater spotlighted for a change with the win.

Masha Slamovich Accepted TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich's Bound for Glory Challenge

In between the opening tag team match and this segment, Grace found Slamovich's "kill board" (or whatever she calls it) backstage and saw herself on there, indicating that Slamovich wasn't done with her. Their quick back-and-forth here led to them agreeing to face off again for the TNA Knockouts World Championship at Bound for Glory. I wish this was saved for next week's show so it got more time, but I understand they likely didn't want to wait that long to confirm this for the card.

TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth and Joe Hendry def. First Class (KC Navarro and A.J. Francis)

This started so close to the end of the episode that you knew it wasn't going to last long, and not only that, the commercial break took up almost half of it. In other words, it was fairly forgettable, but I can't imagine it would've been a barn burner with more time, anyway. What we got was serviceable and it accomplished what it needed to with the Bound for Glory opponents proving they can coexist before their big championship clash at the upcoming pay-per-view.

Overall Show

You could tell that they tried to pack as much into this show as possible, probably because last week's episode had to be canceled due to Hurricane Helene. That would explain why we got the main event on the same show as their segment with Hendry and Nemeth earlier on in the night, same with the women. It made for what felt like a rushed show, but that's just because of the circumstances with Bound for Glory in two weeks from Saturday. It was an adequate edition of iMPACT! on the whole, but the important thing is that they confirmed more matches for the event.
