TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth and Joe Henry Were Interrupted by The System and Attacked Frankie Kazarian

Honestly, Kazarian's Joe Hendry cosplay wasn't bad at all. Nemeth and Henry logically followed up on the shady finish to their championship clash at Bound for Glory without giving too much away and the heels played their roles well. This effectively set up the tag team match for the main event. On a side note, I really hope it isn't a month or two before we see JBL again. TNA might take their time telling this story, but I don't want it to come at the expense of Henry and his popularity.

Jordynne Grace Saved TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich From Tasha Steelz and Alisha Edwards

This came after the commercial break. Although Alisha was still in the ring after being involved in the opener, this felt like it was supposed to air later in the show. I'm going to assume the match involving Chris Bey was scheduled for this spot (they filled the time with highlights from Mike Bailey vs. El Hijo del Vikingo from Bound for Glory instead), but his injury prevented it from airing. All the best to Bey, by the way. As for this segment, it was perfectly fine and set up a tag team match for next week. Does this mean Alisha is officially cleared?

First Class (A.J. Francis and KC Navarro) def. The Rascalz

It's wild that The Rascalz went from having so much momentum as singles stars as part of their program with Wes Lee to feeling like just another team in TNA. I mean, they lost to First Class, who haven't won too many matches so far. This was a quality contest, but I'm curious where all four guys go from here. I imagine First Class are being built up for an opportunity at the TNA World Tag Team Championship while The Rascalz are being put on the back burner.

Steve Maclin, Eric Young and Jonathan Gresham def. The Good Hands and Josh Alexander

I believe the other two members of The Northern Armory couldn't make it to Bound for Glory either due to travel issues, so Good Hands had to fill in for them here. They were the perfect people to eat the loss for Alexander, allowing Maclin to bounce back from his loss to Alexander at Bound for Glory. This was a well-worked six-man tag team match to keep the feud going and give the babyfaces some revenge against Alexander.

Ash by Elegance def. TNA Knockouts World Champion Dani Luna

Ash and Heather by Elegance won their tag team debut on the Bound for Glory pre-show, so now we know who's next in line for a shot at the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship. That was confirmed here with Ash beating Luna. It was a perfectly acceptable outing, though there was nothing out of the ordinary about it. This was basic booking.

Lei Ying Lee def. Maggie Moore

We really haven't seen a whole lot of Lee since she debuted several weeks ago, though she was involved in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Battle Royal on the Bound for Glory pre-show. This was a standard showcase for her and it exactly what it needed to be. Savannah Evans resurfaced afterward and attacked Lee, so we now know who Lee's first feud will be with.

The System (Eddie Edwards and JDC) def. TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth and Joe Hendry

After the shady finish to the TNA World Championship match at Bound for Glory, it makes sense to tease more tension between Nemeth and Hendry and tease that Nemeth was in on JBL's attack. We've seen a lot of iMPACT! main events this year involving The System, but this was well wrestled. Edwards pinning Nemeth was certainly surprising, so I guess that means Edwards will challenge for the title next.

Overall Show

Once again, thoughts and prayers go out to Chris Bey, whose neck injury is apparently extremely serious. Here's wishing him a full and speedy recovery. As for the show, you would've never known it aired on Halloween (aside from the graphics) because there were no Halloween-themed segments or matches outside of Kazarian dressing up as Hendry, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. This was a rock solid show that followed up on Bound for Glory and gave us an idea of what to expect going forward.
