TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater and Cedric Alexander def. The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz)We found out a week or two ago that Myron Reed is next to challenge Slater for the TNA X-Division Championship, so it was logical to give Slater a win over Reed's Rascalz buddies before then. They had the enjoyable opener you'd expect. Slater and Alexander are getting along for now, but I still assume this alliance will end with Alexander betraying Slater, probably ahead of Bound for Glory. Victoria Crawford def. Jody ThreatThis stemmed from Threat's recent altercations with Crawford on her new podcast/talk show thing. Although this was perfectly fine for what it was, I couldn't have cared less about this if I tried, and based on how quiet the crowd was, I wasn't the only one who felt that way. The return of Tessa Blanchard distracted Threat long enough to cost her the victory. Threat losing to the former Alicia Fox in 2025 is certainly something. Mance Warner Won a Battle Royal to Earn the No. 20 Spot in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Battle Royal at Bound for GloryThis could have been saved until after Victory Road because the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Battle Royal doesn't need much build, but I have no issue with them getting it out of the way early. This your standard Battle Royal with a preview of the intergender wrestling we'll get in the actual thing at the pay-per-view. With Warner lastly eliminating Lei Ying Lee to win, that means Warner will be the final entrant while Lee will be the first entrant. TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys and Team 3D Agreed to Face Each Other in a Tables Match at Bound for GloryThis was the first time we've gotten any sort of development for this match at Bound for Glory since it was originally announced two months ago at Slammiversary, but that's okay since The Hardys have been busy with the TNA World Tag Team Championship and this sells itself as an attraction, anyway. This was an effective final confrontation with it being established that it will be a Tables matchup at the event. TNA International Champion Steve Maclin and Mr. Anderson def. Frankie Kazarian and Jake SomethingI had no idea Anderson would also wrestle at this taping after already appearing on last week's episode. That's pretty cool. Plus, the match made sense. The action was fairly average and Anderson got beat up for a majority of it, but it was a well-worked main event. I was surprised Maclin pinned Kazarian for the win considering Kazarian will be challenging him for the TNA International Championship at Victory Road. Overall ShowIt's worth mentioning that in light of the domestic abuse allegations toward Masha Slamovich this week, it appears her scheduled TNA Knockouts World Championship match with Ash by Elegance has been pulled from the Victory Road card based on the website and the fact it wasn't mentioned during the rundown at the end of this show. The episode itself was solid as far as building toward both Victory Road (coming up tomorrow night) and Bound for Glory. Threat vs. Crawford was whatever, but the segment with The Hardys and Team 3D was notable, the opener was entertaining and I loved seeing Anderson back in the ring during the main event.
