Pre-Show: Sinner & Saint def. Brad Attitude and TW3I couldn't tell you the last time I remember seeing Sinner & Saint on TNA TV without looking it up. I know they were in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Battle Royal at Bound for Glory (or at least one of them was), but that's about it. It looks like they're rebooting them as babyfaces, so we'll see if it works. This was an extended squash that allowed them to show off what they can do in the ring. Pre-Show: Alan Angels vs. Ryan Nemeth Never Got Underway; Frankie Kazarian def. AngelsKazarian turned babyface in my mind when he prevented us from getting Nemeth in action. He proceeded to cut a promo that was way too long about re-signing with TNA and wanting to get back into the TNA World Championship picture. His impromptu match with Angels was fine but wasn't anything out of the ordinary at only two or so minutes long. None of this seemed to serve much of a purpose. Jody Threat Won a TNA Knockouts World Championship No. 1 Contender's Battle RoyalWe've seen enough throwaway Battle Royals in TNA that this wasn't much different than the rest of them. If anything, it just exposed the lack of depth in the Knockouts division right now. There weren't many interesting options for who could win, but with Arianna Grace becoming TNA Knockouts World Champion later in the show, I understand having Threat be her first challenger. Trey Miguel def. Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo to Win the TNA International ChampionshipThe International title felt somewhat important when Maclin was defending it fairly regularly, but Lorenzo winning it caused it to lose a lot of its credibility. Hopefully it goes back to being a somewhat-coveted title now that Miguel has it. This was an average outing and they didn't have the strongest chemistry, but Miguel winning was obviously the right call. Mance Warner def. Mike JacksonA.J. Francis joined commentary right before this bout, which was made official on the pre-show. Jackson might be the oldest "active" pro wrestler right now and he's appeared in TNA a handful of times before. I have no idea why this was booked other than to kill time, but I suppose it could have been worse. Warner and Francis nearly got into it afterward, so it looks like they're going to be feuding going forward. Uhm, sure. TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions The Elegance Brand (Heather and M by Elegance) def. Indi Hartwell and Xia BrooksideBrookside and Lei Ying Lee are the team, not Brookside and Hartwell, so Elegance Brand retaining their tag titles was hardly shocking. This match was pretty much what I expected it to be, but I applaud the work of those involved. It was a quality contest for what it was. Hartwell's stock has really plummeted, though, and I hope she can get back to the top of the division eventually. Mickie James returning afterward was a fun surprise. Eric Young def. B.D.E.With the story they're telling with these two, it made total sense for Young to go over. It might sound strange on paper since Young's been around forever and shouldn't be winning more often than not, but he does have to pick up the occasional victory so he has at least a shred of credibility whenever he does get beat. B.D.E. continues to look impressive and was made to look credible in defeat. Arianna Grace def. Lei Ying Lee to Win the TNA Knockouts World ChampionshipYou could see Grace's heel turn (?) coming from a mile away based on how she was interacting with Santino Marella coming into this event. That said, I didn't know if they'd go with the title change and I'm not thrilled they did. Grace is entertaining, but having the Knockouts title change hands for the fifth time since the summer is certainly questionable. The match was perfectly passable, but the Knockouts title scene remains a mess. Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, The Great Hands and Agent Zero) def. TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys and The RighteousThe Hardys agreeing to team with The Righteous was stupid enough considering everything they've already done to each other up to this point, but they would looked even dumber had The Righteous turned on them here. The Righteous need a big win, but I get wanting to give Order 4 the victory with Ali having a bit of momentum at the moment. Post-match, he and Elijah hyped their Guitar Case Casket match on Thursday's iMPACT!. TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater and TNA World Champion Mike Santana def. Nic Nemeth and Eddie EdwardsYes, this could have easily sufficed as an iMPACT! main event considering it came out of nowhere and had no stakes, but it's cool that Slater was slotted in the main event of this show after being gone for a little while. This was good stuff as it allowed all four guys to shine and set up Nemeth and Edwards as upcoming challengers to the TNA World Championship despite them losing. Overall ShowThis was along the lines of most installments of No Surrender in recent years where it was mostly matches that didn't make much of a difference in the long run. The wrestling was solid, but there weren't any super significant developments outside of Miguel winning the International title and James returning. There are worse ways to spend three hours, but if you didn't tune in, you didn't miss much. It was essentially a placeholder event before things (ideally) start heating up again soon.
