Eddie Edwards def. B.D.E.They're still trying to make Edwards some sort of a threat, so coming off his disqualification loss to Fabian Aichner last week, it made sense to give him a quick win here. There wasn't much to the match. B.D.E. is pretty much jobber fodder at this point, and I can't imagine he's bringing any buzz to the product with often he's been booked to lose. Post-match, Aichner and Leon Slater made the save for B.D.E. A.J. Francis Attacked ElijahElijah and Francis recently wrapped up their rivalries with Frankie Kazarian and KC Navarro, respectively, so it looks like they're moving on for a feud with each other. This reminds me of when Francis worked with Joe Hendry for several months back in 2024, and that obviously ended up working out well for Hendry. This is a basic midcard feud and this was a basic segment to get it going. Santino Marella and Indi Hartwell def. Birth Right (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Arianna Grace)For as little as I've cared about this storyline, I do think Marella and Hartwell have had nice chemistry as allies. Moreover, it's been encouraging to see Hartwell involved in something meaningful for the first time in months. Everyone played their roles well here and it made for a fun mixed tag team match. Hopefully this is the end of the feud so we can all move on from it. Eric Young Attacked TNA World Champion Mike SantanaRegardless of what TNA does, I still find it difficult to care about Young as a legitimate contender to the TNA World Championship in 2026, but they've done what they can to make it feel that way. Young's promo was fine, but unsurprisingly, Santana's promo was better. It was logical for Young to stand tall in the end. Thankfully, their match was announced for next week. I have no desire to see a rematch at Slammiversary, but that might be where they're headed. Mr. Elegance def. TNA Knockouts World Champion Lei Ying Lee (Non-Title)Uh, what was the point of this? Lee got the belt back a few weeks ago and we found out immediately afterward that Xia Brookside will challenge her at Slammiversary, so why would you have her get beat by someone she likely wouldn't (and shouldn't) defend the title against? The stuff with Mr. Elegance is awful as it is and dragging Lee into it isn't the answer. This was a massive waste of time. The Righteous def. The Hardys in a Wicked Garden MatchI didn't know what to expect from this match exactly, whether it was going to be cinematic or not, but it was basically a No Disqualification match with garden-themed objects. I appreciate their attempt to do something different, if nothing else. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. My top takeaway was that The Righteous finally won, which was desperately needed if they're going to have any shred of credibility. I'm curious what they have in mind for Slammiversary, assuming this feud isn't over yet. Overall ShowThis edition of iMPACT! will get talked about more than most, for both good and bad reasons. The Wicked Garden match is bound to be divisive, but having Mr. Elegance face and beat Lee was definitely dumb. I have no idea what they were thinking with that one. The rest of the show was okay albeit slightly below average. Santana vs. Young was hyped for next week, but they really need to start heating up the Slammiversay build.
