Mustafa Ali def. B.D.E.This show was a part of the Atlanta tapings, so B.D.E. getting a singles match in his hometown was pretty cool. He had the perfect opponent in the experienced and skilled Ali as well. Ali has his sights set on Trey Miguel's TNA International Championship at the moment, so there was no way he was losing here, but I thought they had a nice match in the time they were allotted. TNA World Tag Team Champion Jeff Hardy def. Brian MyersThe timing of this match wasn't exactly ideal coming off Myers being squashed by Moose in a matter of seconds on last week's episode. By that logic, it took Hardy a lot longer than it should have to beat Myers, but it was still a decent match for what it was. With Matt Hardy "mysteriously" attacked backstage, we found out that Jeff will team with Vincent of The Righteous to take on Myers and Cedric Alexander of The System at Sacrifice. Moose def. Bear BronsonWow, they're really rushing through this rivalry between Moose and The System. Moose just beat Alexander in that Street Fight two weeks ago, Myers last week, and now Bronson. I'm not complaining, but I figured it'd be a feud they'd take their time with and not have The System be made to look completely inferior every time they cross paths with Moose. Nonetheless, he and Bronson had a well-worked match, though TNA hasn't done the best job of making Bronson feel like a special signing so far. Tessa Blanchard, Victoria Crawford and Mila Moore def. Myla Grace, Harley Hudson and Jody ThreatBlanchard will battle Threat one-on-one at Sacrifice, so this was supposed to serve as a small preview of that. I cared about this as much as I'll care about that at Sacrifice, which is to say I didn't care very much at all. There was nothing technically wrong with this bout, but it didn't feature anyone or anything I gave a crap about. Blanchard running through Threat with ease makes sense, but Blanchard hasn't been a "threat" herself in a while and defeating Threat won't do a lot to change that. Eric Young def. Brad AttitudeYoung will be challenging Leon Slater for the TNA X-Division Championship at Sacrifice, so this was meant to give him a minor momentum boost before then. The match was pretty much what it needed to be. I was surprised we didn't see Slater pop up afterward, but at least we heard from him earlier on in a pre-taped promo addressing Young and hyping up their championship clash. Elijah and Buff Bagwell Fended off Frankie KazarianWell, this was random. I know Bagwell is from Georgia, and this episode emanated from Atlanta, but Bagwell wanting to wrestle again is certainly... a choice. How much does TNA gain from that? I guess they'd be doing him a favor, but I'm not sure it's worth it. This was a strange segment, but Kazarian and Elijah did interact ahead of their tag team match at Sacrifice, so there was that. The System (Eddie Edwards and Cedric Alexander) def. TNA World Champion Mike Santana and TNA X-Division Champion Leon SlaterSantana and Slater make for a hell of a team and they once again had quality chemistry as partners here. Both are busy with other rivals, so this was a weird main event to do right before Sacrifice, but the heels winning was the right call, especially since it was due to interference from Santana's Sacrifice opponent Steve Maclin. The action was enjoyable enough as well. Overall ShowSacrifice looks like another one of TNA's filler shows before one of their bigger pay-per-views in Rebellion next month, but the card on paper isn't awful and the build has been solid. This was a middle-of-the-road show with hype for the event, even if nothing specifically stood out. It didn't necessarily sell me on Sacrifice, but everything serving a purpose was appreciated.
