NXT Women's Champion and NXT Women's North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer def. Jaida Parker (NXT Women's North American Championship Was Not Defended)This really should have been saved for Stand & Deliver instead of rushed into on one week's notice. I understand they wanted to tell the story of Vaquer's two titles being in jeopardy with her defending on both belts on the same show, but Parker felt like an afterthought here because of the obvious outcome and it's not as if the bout itself was memorable enough to make up for it. What we got was good, though. Jordynne Grace costing Parker the win sets them up for an eventual match. Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont def. Hank Walker and Tank LedgerBoth of these teams are works in progress, but I appreciated the development that Igwe and Dupont have gotten from their recent stint in TNA. Hank and Tank, on the other hand, seem to be in the same spot they've been in for the last year, so I'm glad Igwe and Dupont went over here. This was a decent match and it gets the heels closer to challenging for the NXT Tag Team Championship soon. NXT Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King def. Je'Von Evans by Count-OutKing ditching the Heritage Cup rules was the best thing he could have done, but if there's nothing different about the title at this point, there isn't a reason for it to exist. This was basically a backdrop for what happened afterward, but it was a nice match for what it was and the count-out finish protected Evans in defeat. Evans, Oba Femi and Trick Williams brawled afterward while Darkstate watched from the crowd. They definitely want you to think one of those men is the mystery leader of Darkstate, probably Williams. Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin def. The Meta-Four (Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend)The timing of this match was interesting because we just saw both of these teams show up on TNA iMPACT! last Thursday and express interest in going after the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship. I thought we might see Ash and Heather by Elegance show up here, but Sol Ruca and Zaria were at ringside instead. This was short and sweet. Will Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez show up in NXT one of these days to defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship against these teams or can they not be bothered? Ethan Page def. Andre ChaseChase has been beyond directionless since Chase U was forced to disband late last year, but I'm not necessarily complaining because I didn't care much for the faction to begin with. He's the ultimate utility player at this point and he played that role perfectly here in what was a fun match. Ricky Saints sat in on commentary and got attacked by Shawn Spears afterward, so we might be headed for a Triple Threat for the NXT North American Championship at Stand & Deliver. NXT Women's Champion and NXT Women's North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer def. Fallon Henley (NXT Women's Championship Was Not Defended)Henley didn't feel like a threat to Vaquer on paper, but the fact Vaquer was already in action at the start of the show added to the idea that Henley could win, which was the point. This was as enjoyable as their encounter at Vengeance Day, but it simply would've been too soon to take either title off of Vaquer. Based on what went down afterward, all signs point to Grace facing Vaquer for one if not both of her titles at Stand & Deliver after she gets through Parker. Overall ShowNXT has had some strong shows over the last few months (specifically whenever they've been on the road), but this was not one of them. That's not to say it was bad by any means, but it was fairly standard stuff in terms of build for Stand & Deliver with not much that stood out as special beyond Vaquer pulling double duty. This was an adequate edition of NXT yet nothing you need to seek out.
