Tatum Paxley & Gigi Dolin def. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Jacy Jane), Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez, and The Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) in a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Elimination MatchYes, this was an obvious attempt to get as many people on the card as possible by throwing a bunch of teams in a Fatal 4-Way tag match, but at least they made it meaningful by putting a shot at the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship on the line. Plus, this ended up being a treat for what it was despite the elimination stipulation being unnecessary. Perez felt out of place as she should've been on the main card, but at least she and Jade seemingly cemented their split with Perez walking out on Jade. Paxley and Dolin will challenge for the tag titles on Tuesday's NXT, which will also be emanating from Las Vegas. NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints def. Ethan PageThis was the only singles match on the entire show and it was a good one. The crowd was behind Saints throughout and Page continues to excel in his role. This wasn't a show-stealer by any means, but it was a super solid opener with Saints retaining his title as he should have. Page is ready for the main roster, so hopefully we see him surface on SmackDown or Raw coming out of WrestleMania 41. Tank Ledger and Hank Walker def. Nathan Frazer and Axiom to Win the NXT Tag Team ChampionshipAs I've said before, Frazer and Axiom are the best tag team in the world right now. You know you're going to get a great match whenever they're in action, regardless of who they're up against. This was yet another example of that. No disrespect to Hank and Tank (who I haven't really cared about as a duo), but this was by far the most memorable match they've ever had in NXT. They held their own while Frazer and Axiom worked their magic. This was very enjoyable. The outcome surprised me, but I suppose it was time for the champs to lose so they could move to the main roster. Sol Ruca def. Lola Vice, Thea Hail, Zaria, Izzi Dame and Kelani Jordan in a Ladder Match to Win the Vacant NXT Women's North American ChampionshipWe see so many Ladder matches in NXT, WWE and just in wrestling in general that they all blend together at this point, not to mention how difficult it is to innovate in them these days. Despite all of that, this was a blast. That shouldn't have been too shocking considering the depth in NXT's women's division and the immense amount of talent involved in this one. I figured Lola Vice would win, but I'm glad they went with Ruca, who has been on the rise for the last two years and should shine in this spot. DarkState (Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars) def. The D'Angelo Family (Tony D'Angelo, Luca Crusifino and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo)DarkState haven't wrestled too many matches since debuting on NXT TV, but to their credit, all of them are showing signs of potential so far. This was easily the weakest match of the night, but it wasn't bad by any means. Rather, it paled to comparison to everything else because this was more of a standard six-man tag team affair with the focus being on the tension between D'Angelo and Lorenzo. Lorenzo finally betraying D'Angelo is what people will remember more than anything. NXT Women's Champion Stephanie Vaquer def. Jaida Parker, Giulia and Jordynne Grace in a Fatal 4-Way MatchI wasn't a fan of going with the Fatal 4-Way format here seeing as how we just got a Fatal 4-Way for the title at Vengeance Day two months ago, but I can't complain about a great match. I expected excellence and we got just that. They worked a wonderful pace and kept the action exciting throughout. Vaquer pinning Parker was the logical outcome. I just hope we can get a real one-on-one feud for the title going forward. NXT Champion Oba Femi def. Je'Von Evans and Trick Williams in a Triple Threat MatchYou can take what I said about the previous match and apply it here: The NXT Championship was defended in a Triple Threat match at Vengeance Day, so while I would've preferred a singles story on this show, this was actually way better than the last Triple Threat and a ton of fun. Femi was my pick to retain, but genuinely, William or even Evans could've won and it would've made sense. Thus, I appreciated the unpredictability. These guys killed it and ended the event on a high note. Overall ShowEven when the builds to these NXT premium live events aren't always the best, the above-average in-ring work tends to make up for it. That was certainly the case here. Going with so many multi-person matches felt lazy, but they produced a strong show, nonetheless. I maintain that NXT should hold Stand & Deliver on the Thursday of WrestleMania weekend instead of on Saturday where it's immediately overshadowed by Night 1 of WrestleMania, but this was an excellent effort all around.
