AJ Lee, Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss def. Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Lash Legend and WWE Women's Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors in a WarGames MatchFor what it's worth, we did not get the shark cages for the WarGames matches on this show, but that may have been because it took place in a stadium (not to mention there was no way Brock Lesnar was going to be stuck in a cage with multiple wrestlers waiting to be released). This was a good WarGames match from the women and I'm glad they didn't go overboard with the plunder. Lee submitting Lynch was logical to further that feud, but are they going to wait until WrestleMania 42 to go one-on-one? That's too far away in my opinion, so it should happen well before then. AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio def. John Cena to Win the Intercontinental Championship (AAA Mega Championship Was Not Defended)I was hoping for more of a match between these two since their previous encounter was all about the moment of Cena capturing the title, but instead, we just got more overbooking and shenanigans. The interference from the rest of The Judgment Day got ridiculous, but I understand it was designed to set up Liv Morgan's return, which was a pleasant surprise. This was far from a barn burner, but the crowd was into all of it, and I'm glad Cena put over Mysterio on his final premium live event. Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer def. Nikki BellaSeeing as how this didn't turn out to be anything out of the ordinary and the title didn't change hands (nor should it have), I'm not sure why WWE opted to rush into it on the show. I'm not saying Bella's betrayal of Vaquer was rushed but rather the decision to get this on the card. It could have easily been saved for another time when they could have built up the bout more. The crowd didn't seem to care about this very much, even though it was perfectly fine for what it was. Vaquer winning decisively should end the short-lived feud, but I get the feeling it will continue. The Vision (Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Logan Paul), Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar def. World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and The Usos in a WarGames MatchThis was a step above the women's WarGames from earlier but still the weakest men's WarGames match we've gotten since the gimmick debuted on the main roster three years ago. And it wasn't a case of it needing more weapons, either. It was entertaining on the whole, and there were some memorable moments, but it never reached that next level. It didn't help that the finish came off as anticlimactic, but at least Breakker pinning Punk was the right call. It's obvious the masked man was Austin Theory, who was rumored to take part in this matchup originally before plans changed. It's going to be difficult for fans to take seriously after how badly he's been booked since beating Cena at WrestleMania 39, but it isn't impossible. Overall ShowI've been very vocal about how I appreciate the "less is more" approach to WWE's premium live events, but a four-match card is too little, especially when none of them will be remembered as instant classics. Survivor Series 2025 ended up being a solid albeit largely uneventful and anticlimactic show. Morgan's return and Mysterio getting the belt back were newsworthy, but did this really need to be a stadium show (despite how cool it look visually)? I don't know how much stronger of an event Survivor Series would be without WarGames every year, but for the sake of the WarGames concept, they need to ditch it as a Survivor Series staple to salvage whatever appeal it has left.
