WrestleRant Radio - January 31, 2019

Rumors are running rampant as to who will be next to leave WWE, and Graham "GSM" Matthews has plenty to say about all the possible departures on the latest WrestleRant Radio! First and foremost, news broke on Tuesday that Dean Ambrose will not be re-signing with WWE when his contract expires in April. With the company openly acknowledging Ambrose's plans to leave, fans are speculating what the future holds for him and whether it might be work. GSM talks why Ambrose apparently is unhappy in WWE, where the company went wrong with him, how his feud with Seth Rollins was horribly botched, if All Elite Wrestling could be on his radar, a potential WrestleMania match with Nia Jax, how this could affect Renee Young and if she will follow him out the door.

Ambrose isn't the only one who might be giving WWE their notice in the near future, though. Ronda Rousey is rumored to be taking time off after WrestleMania 35, but at least she'll be back unlike Hideo Itami. GSM gives his two cents on Itami requesting and reportedly being granted his release from the company this past week, NXT TakeOver: Phoenix and the best bouts from the night, Halftime Heat returning during the Super Bowl, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins' Royal Rumble wins, why Charlotte Flair should not be added to Lynch vs. Rousey at WrestleMania, Erick Rowan joining Daniel Bryan, Elias and Rusev randomly turning heel, R-Truth winning the United States Championship and why the belt means nothing by this point, Bryan's new hemp WWE Championship belt and who he'll be facing at Elimination Chamber, and much more!

With NXT TakeOver: Phoenix and Royal Rumble fast approaching, GSM and RJ offer their full predictions for both shows, and nothing is off limits! They're talking the Kassius Ohno and Matt Riddle rivalry, if it's time for Undisputed Era to drop the NXT Tag Team Championship, the undefeated Bianca Belair vying for the NXT Women's Championship, Johnny Gargano's chances of becoming NXT North American Champion, who they think might show up at TakeOver in the crowd, and if Aleister Black is main roster bound following his feud with Tommaso Ciampa.

Plus, hear them give their two cents on Shinsuke Nakamura's fall from grace, who will leave the Royal Rumble the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Becky Lynch's road to WrestleMania 35, Ronda Rousey defending the Raw Women's Championship against Sasha Banks, what the endgame is for the angle with Shane McMahon and The Miz, Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, what will become of Finn Balor following his Universal Championship shot at the Rumble, Abyss reportedly coming to WWE and other potential surprise entrants for the men's Rumble, expectations for the weekend, and much more!
