Plans have been discussed about debuting a new faction entitled "New Blood Rising" of taking part of the Adrenaline broadcast. These plans have been discussed since June of last year, with different variations of the group being created.
However, it is rumored that plans have finally been certified for a big angle with Electroid, Jack Frost, Kenny Dykstra, Marcus Cor Von, Rocco Morgan, and their eventual leader Austin who has been contacted to return to the company for a short period of time. New Blood Rising's arrival is expected to be following Day of Darkness IV. Next Era Wrestling has come to terms on the release of NEW Superstar Eric Escobar as of January 23, 2011. As seen last month on Adrenaline, former NEW Tag Team Champions Booker T and Scott Steiner were attacked by rivals La Resistance on the final show of the year. Both Steiner and Booker have not been seen on television since.
Backstage sources state there is no current plans for the team, as Creative is currently focusing on bringing in new faces to the tag team division. Booker T and Scott Steiner remain with the company for now, but were taken off television in the chance they return to TNA Wrestling in coming months. Do not expect to seem them until after Day of Darkness if they remain with the company.
