It's amazing to think it's been five years to the day since I started Next Era Wrestling. I had been running my own wrestling website entitled AJM for over two years by November 2010, but at that point in time, AJM was a fantasy wrestling organization I ran with my brother. AJM, which was renamed to Next Era Wrestling in early 2010, was never anything I ever considered doing professionally but rather merely for fun, so I recorded the results of the matches we did on the website. I moved the site over from Freewebs (I believe it's been shortened to just Webs now) to Weebly that November, which gave birth to the website you're reading now. As noted, Next Era Wrestling five years ago wasn't close to what it has since become. It consisted of nothing more than match results from the aforementioned fantasy wrestling organization, which you can now find in the Archive section of the site. It wasn't until mid-2011 that I started writing reviews of Raw, SmackDown and the WWE pay-per-views exclusively for the site and now, no less than a dozen articles are up per week. |
