#AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week’s edition touches upon a variety of topics including:

ROH World Tag Team Champions The Motor City Machine Guns def. The DawgsThe Machine Guns were heels the last time we saw them in action at Final Battle against Best Friends, but they were back to being babyfaces here. That was weird, and I guess they'll be faces going forward considering they'll be entering a feud with The Briscoes over the belts, but this was a nice little match. I didn't think for a second that The Dawgs were capturing the championship, mind you, but from an in-ring standpoint, it was a decent outing. Jonathan Gresham def. Josh "The Goods" WoodsWoods has shown solid progression since winning the Top Prospect Tournament, despite not having much of a sense of direction. I suppose this series of matches with Gresham works in the meantime and they have good chemistry together. I wouldn't have had Woods lose, but Gresham did put him over afterward by raising his hand. I'd like to know more about Woods' character because I believe that will help him build momentum.
Lince Dorado, Kalisto and Gran Metalik def. TJP, Tony Nese and Ariya DaivariDorado, Kalisto and Metalik have never teamed before on TV, but they already have excellent chemistry together. Must be a "Lucha thing." In all seriousness, this was a really fun opening match and what I want to see out of the Cruiserweights more often. TJP, Nese and Daivari need major reboots as heels because they're beyond bland and boring, but TJP teasing tension with Nese and Daivari afterward was interesting. TJP's slump continues. By the way, I liked Dorado (who hasn't been seen on TV in months) picking up the pinfall victory for his team. Hideo Itami def. Gentleman Jack GallagherIt didn't take long for WWE to make Itami feel like everyone else on the 205 Live roster (a.k.a. not special at all). This feud with Gallagher has been extremely dead with no real heat behind it whatsoever. They wrestled a decent little match, but this lacked intensity and a sense of urgency that caused me to not care. Itami's new finisher is nothing compared to the GTS, which is still seemingly banned.
Intercontinental Champion The Miz and Asuka def. Big E and Carmella in a First Round MatchFrom an in-ring standpoint, this wasn't nearly as entertaining as Finn Balor and Sasha Banks vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Natalya from last week, but I still liked the interesting dynamics involved. Big E and Carmella were extra goofy and I enjoyed their antics, but as a result, the match suffered slightly. Miz and Asuka play off each other especially well despite being polar opposites, so I was happy they advanced (as they should have). Overall ShowThe format of the show on the whole continues to be very good. It's short and sweet and doesn't overstay its welcome. No time is wasted, either. I'm not sure how you can view the show after it airs, but I have yet to have any issues with watching it on Facebook Watch, which is appreciated. All that said, last week's edition was definitely better than this one, though I am looking forward to Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss vs. Sami Zayn and Becky Lynch next week.
