AEW World Champion Jon Moxley Issued an Open Contract for a Match at All OutMoxley cut the promo you'd expect about Punk after how he beat him so decisively on Dynamite last week. He was intense and held nothing back. Of course, the Chicago crowd booed because Punk is their boy, but not as heavily as I thought they would. The only aspect of this segment I didn't like was Moxley leaving an open contract for a title shot at All Out in the middle ring. It felt like forever before Ace Steel (longtime friend of Punk's)

#AskGSM Edition #457: Where Does Roman Reigns' Run Rank Among WWE's Greatest World Title Runs Ever?8/31/2022 #AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews, answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week's edition touches upon a variety of topics including:
Grayson Waller def. Apollo CrewsWaller hasn't had a ton of direction since he wrapped up his rivalry with LA Knight earlier this year, so I'm glad this feud with Crews has corrected that. They work well together as this was a good match and Waller winning ensures it will continue. Crews was poked in defeat with Waller targeting his eye earlier on, so obviously this feud isn't over. This was a smart choice to kick off the show, even though it has nothing to do with Worlds Collide.
John Silver def. SerpenticoSilver and the Dark Order guys advanced in the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament last Friday on Rampage when Alex Reynolds pinned Malakai Black (I'm still rolling my eyes at that decision). Silver is obviously very talented, but it might have made more sense to give Dark Order another win in six-man tag team action to further their momentum. That said, this was a nice little match while it lasted. Kicking off Dark with established talent is always a smart call.
Matt Taven def. NWA World Tag Team Champion Mecha WolfI was surprised to see La Rebelion regain the NWA World Tag Team Championship at NWA 74 after how lengthy their first reign was, but it makes sense if they're going to continue feuding with The OGK. I don't think I've ever seen Mecha Wolf compete on his own, but he did well and had a good match with Taven. Bestia 666 vs. Mike Bennett might be next, but either way, I assume The OGK will soon be in line for a tag title opportunity.
