Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens Brawled with The Judgment Day and JD McDonaghRhodes' mic work has been pretty basic since his storyline with Brock Lesnar ended. He was cutting some great promos during that feud, but he's clearly killing time right now until his next feud kicks off. He even alluded to someone being traded to SmackDown soon in exchange for Jey coming to Raw, so perhaps that was meant to plant the seeds for Rhodes being that person. The brawl that ended this segment seemed to hint at the WarGames match we've all been expecting for a while.

Christian Cage def. Luchasaurus and Darby Allin in a Three-Way Match to Win the AEW TNT ChampionshipThis was an absolute blast. It was basically a Handicap match but didn't feel like one with the way it was laid out. Allin still had to overcome the odds and it was always interesting. I'm happy he didn't get the belt back here because they can save that for Seattle at WrestleDream, but personally, I'm hoping Christian holds onto it now that he's finally the real TNT champion. This was the first time tension has been teased between Christian and Luchasaurus, so we'll see if he turns on him soon or if they save it for down the road.
Darby Allin and Sting def. AEW TNT Champion Luchasaurus and Christian CageIs anyone going to acknowledge that Allin and Sting have been undefeated as a team for the last two and a half years? That should have made the outcome to this match fairly obvious, but I enjoyed it, nonetheless. Christian's act continues to be a riot and I'm curious to see if he walks out as the real AEW TNT Champion in that three-way match with him, Luchasaurus and Allin on Saturday's Collision. This served as a nice preview of that.
Ivy Nile def. Izzi DameNile remains the one all of the newcomers test their mettle against. She's been around long enough that women like Dame can benefit from working with her. It was a fairly basic bout on the whole, but Dame held her own and it was a competent contest. We'll see how Dame progresses. As for Nile, NXT really needs to do more with her on television and not just have her manage The Creed Brothers constantly. She deserves a spotlight of her own.
