Noam Dar def. Lince Dorado

Dar's relationship with Alicia Fox is a fine little storyline for the Cruiserweight division, but it hasn't done anything to help him elicit heat so far. He's a pretty good wrestler as well, but he isn't nearly as flashy as most of the other Cruiserweights and that has worked against him. As a four minute squash, this was a fairly forgettable match. Rich Swann showing up to further their feud would have made this worthwhile, but he was nowhere to be seen here.

Akira Tozawa Called Out The Brian Kendrick

Tozawa's English is already better than Shinsuke Nakamura's, so that will help him in the long run. Plus, he's feuding with a terrific talker in Kendrick, and I've thoroughly enjoyed how this program has played out this far. Their exchange was well done and did a solid job of teasing fans with the idea that they were going to fight only to leave them waiting until the tag team match on the Fastlane Kickoff show.

The Miz Hosted Miz TV with John Cena

Contrary to popular belief, I was actually open to the idea of Cena and Nikki Bella feuding with Miz and Maryse heading into WrestleMania when it was initially rumored around Royal Rumble time, and they set it up quite well with what happened on last week's episode. Everyone always expects the worst from Miz TV, but the dude has been on fire for months and he cut a phenomenal promo here as well as Cena, breathing new life into what was once a lifeless rivalry. Maryse and Nikki also played their roles remarkably well and now I find myself looking forward to the mixed tag team match at WrestleMania.

Becky Lynch def. Mickie James in a 2-out-of-3 falls Match

This match had the potential to be something special with the stipulation it had, but it really wasn't anything above average. For starters, most of the match consisted of commercial breaks, which I figured would happen after the opening segment lasted a whopping 25 minutes. Although what we saw was solid, the pinfalls felt rushed and they weren't given a ton of time, so the whole matchup ultimately underwhelmed in my eyes. On the bright side, they seem to be setting up a Triple Threat match for the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania based on Alexa Bliss' interference backfiring at the end of this bout.

Sin Cara def. Bo Dallas

Needless to say, Cara vs. Dallas is a match we have seen countless times in the past, so this really wasn't anything new. It wasn't a bad match per se, but it was merely a retread of their past encounters. Both of these guys are beyond directionless at the moment and thus none of their matches interest me in the slightest. There was a small Sin Cara chant from four or five people at one point down the stretch, so he had that going for him, I guess.

Gran Metalik def. Ariya Daivari

This was the match I was actually looking forward to on this show because we haven't seen much of Metalik in WWE outside of the Cruiserweight Classic. He made his 205 Live debut a few weeks back and hasn't been seen since. Maybe the minor botches during his re-debut scared off officials similar to The Bollywood Boyz and how crowds weren't responding to them? At any rate, this was a fun match and Metalik was able to showcase some of his skills, but I wish the matchup had lasted a little longer.

WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens Interrupted Goldberg

Goldberg was very good on the mic here, which is what happens when he doesn't bang his head relentlessly on a door before he comes out to the ring and cause himself to lose his train of thought. In all seriousness, this was one of his better promos since returning as he kept his address of Owens and Brock Lesnar short and sweet. Speaking of Owens, he cut an excellent promo of his own and I love how his tone of voice has been different and more menacing since turning on Chris Jericho. He's 100 percent in serious mode, and as a result, he comes across as a true threat. The only thing I ask at this point is that WWE doesn't have Owens get beat by Goldberg in a matter of minutes at Fastlane.

The New Day def. Rusev and Jinder Mahal

I honestly had no interest in seeing this match last week, let alone again this week. And no, them mocking the ending to the Oscars (which I didn't watch but heard all about on social media on Sunday night) did not make this worth it in the slightest. New Day are still over with the audience (even though this crowd was quiet for them), but given they'll be spinning their wheels until they host WrestleMania 33 in April, I just can't bring myself to care about anything they're involved in. This match was decent yet nothing spectacular. Rusev deserves so much better. Based off what we saw afterward, could a face turn be in his future?

Cody Attacked Moose

It was weird to me when Cody came out and was introduced as "The American Nightmare" by Josh Mathews, yet he appeared to be in babyface mode despite having turned heel since he was last seen in TNA. Of course, it ended up making sense with Cody turning on Moose, so I loved what they did here. Granted, Brandi Rhodes' acting skills are still awful, but it struck me as odd when Bradi teamed up with Moose last week when she very easily could have called upon her husband to help her out. Is Cody back in TNA for good going forward or was this merely a one-off?

Tyrus def. Eli Drake by Disqualification

After the video package that preceded this match did a good job of recapping what we've seen from this feud thus far, I was actually looking forward to what would happen in this match. And then it was revealed that they had seemingly been in cahoots the entire time, so that was slightly disappointing. I know I criticized them for splitting up in the first place because it was way too soon for that to happen, but this just made the last few weeks a waste of time in my mind.
