Drew McIntyre def. Jey Uso, LA Knight, Carmelo Hayes, Chad Gable and Andrade to Win the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder MatchMost Money in the Bank Ladder matches blend together for me at this point because we've gotten so many of them in the last two decades, but this was among the stronger ones I've seen in recent memory. Everyone had their time to shine and there were a number of memorable spots. McIntyre winning was the most predictable outcome (to set up what happened a little later on) and I was hoping anyone else would win, but no such luck. What did surprise me, however, was the lack of interference, especially from Logan Paul. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. They opened the event in electric fashion.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes def. AJ Styles in an "I Quit" MatchI wish they stretched the storyline out a little longer so this could be saved for a third encounter, but clearly WWE has other plans based on what we saw afterward with The Bloodline attacking Rhodes before Randy Orton and Kevin Owens fended them off. At any rate, this was another strong match from these two. "I Quit" matches have a tendency to drag, but this was violent enough where it was engaging throughout and the blood from both men was a really nice touch. Having Mama Rhodes at ringside created the possibility of Styles winning even if it wasn't too likely.
Pre-Show: WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill def. Candice LeRae and Indi HartwellI know LeRae "injured" Belair's leg during their Queen of the Ring first-round match two weeks ago, but WWE should've bothered to explain what exactly LeRae and Hartwell did to earn this opportunity when we just had a number one contender's Fatal 4-Way tag team match on Monday's Raw. Nonetheless, this was a nice match. It didn't go needlessly long, the crowd was into it, and both teams showed up some innovative offense. I hope Belair and Cargill are able to run through at least a few teams before we get to the next step of their storyline.
The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga) def. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton in a Street FightThe two teams brawled before the bell, leading to Nick Aldis coming out and making it a Street Fight. It would have been a very good match regardless, but the stipulation made it even better. They made excellent use of it by taking their fight all over the arena and had an incredible opener. Everyone was expecting Jacob Fatu to arrive and aid Bloodline to victory, and as awesome as that would have been, Tanga Loa (Tonga's Guerrillas of Destiny tag team partner from New Japan Pro-Wrestling) debuting was a cool surprise. This was a stellar start to the show.
