ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta def. Hagane Shinno in a Pure Rules MatchShinno was a random name to have on this show considering I don't recall him ever having ties to Ring of Honor or Jay Briscoe, but there was a lot of that on this show because it came together on such short notice. Storyline significance hardly mattered, nor did the match quality given the circumstances. That said, this was a quality contest. I've been impressed by Shinno from what I've seen of him on the Dark shows and I thought he and Yuta put together a well-worked match for the ROH Pure Championship.

Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara) def. Action Andretti and Ricky StarksJericho Appreciation Society have lost every match they've had so far against Andretti and Starks, so I was fine with them winning here due to outside interference from Daniel Garcia. Specifically, I'm glad it was Andretti who was pinned and not Starks. This was a well-worked match with solid showings from all involved. I'm curious what the ultimate endgame of this angle is going to be. I assume it's Starks vs. Jericho II, hopefully with Starks winning clean again.
#AskGSM Edition #478: Who Will Be the Final Four in the 2023 Men's and Women's Royal Rumble Matches?1/25/2023 #AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews, answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week's edition touches upon a variety of topics including:
Tiffany Stratton def. Indi HartwellThis was Stratton's first bout back since losing to Wendy Choo several months ago. Hartwell was a good person for her to work with given Hartwell's experience and tenure on the NXT roster. They had a solid match and it was probably for the best to keep it on the shorter side. The outcome was never in doubt as Stratton begins to climb the ranks of NXT's women's division. Meanwhile, I think it's high time Hartwell gets called up to the main roster.
