Jake Something def. Deaner in a Tables Match; Scott D'Amore Interrupted MooseI liked how IMPACT wasted no time in opening the show with one of their bigger matches of the night, and I never thought I would say that about a match between the former Deaners. In all seriousness, this was a decent opener. It lacked suspense at times and wasn't terribly exciting, but it had a good story and the effort was there. Violent By Design has gotten the better of Jake at almost every turn, so he was overdue for a win. It also set him up nicely to face Moose later in the night after Moose attacked him here. D'Amore made that matchup official instead of giving Moose the Impact World Championship opportunity he was demanding.

FTW Champion Brian Cage def. John Skyler (Non-Title)Every time I see Cage in action, I'm reminded how worthless that FTW Championship belt he carries around is. It's a pointless prop and nothing more. As for Skyler, I'm familiar with him from the many appearances he's made for WWE and NXT over the years as a local athlete. He suffered a serious knee injury last summer but is finally back. Unfortunately for him, this was all about Cage, who squashed him in under a minute here.
Bobby Lashley Presented WWE Champion The Miz an Ultimatum on Miz TVAs expected, Lashley and MVP interrupted Miz's championship celebration because he was coming to collect after beating up Drew McIntyre at Elimination Chamber enough to allow Miz to cash in on him. I love how Lashley didn't waste time in demanding a shot at the strap and the ultimatum was a brilliant way of keeping viewers tuned in for the first hour. Everyone played their roles well and cut good promos. WWE should kick off Raw like this more often so more fans stick around to see what will happen next.
La Faccion Ingobernable (ROH World Television Champion Dragon Lee and Kenny King) def. The Briscoes in a ROH World Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contender's MatchThis marked King's first match back in a while as he was unable to appear at Final Battle due to not passing the company's COVID-19 protocol. All four of these guys are great and The Briscoes never cease to deliver, so unsurprisingly, this was a very entertaining affair. King and Lee won after interference from Flip Gordon, so they're getting the tag title shot in two weeks. It was then hinted at that Gordan was paid off by EC3, who returned for the first time in a few months and cut a promo on Jay Briscoe. At least they're picking up where they left off there after their matchup had to be scrapped from Final Battle.
