Kairi Sane def. Lacey EvansSane is obviously the star officials are grooming to eventually contend for the NXT Women's Championship and potentially take the title from Shayna Baszler, so while Evans had virtually no chance of victory against her, she scored a decent amount of offense over the inaugural Mae Young Classic winner. I'm not sure if she has shown as much promise as some of the other competitors in NXT's women's division right now, but she didn't look terrible here, and the crowd was behind Sane. Heavy Machinery vs. Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss Ended in a No ContestThese two teams have already faced off twice before, so this was nothing new from them. It wasn't technically a bad match and I usually enjoy the antics of Heavy Machinery, but the bout was fairly formulaic. Thankfully, it was eventually interrupted by The War Raiders, who you might know better as War Machine from Ring of Honor/New Japan Pro Wrestling. They immediately made their presence felt by laying out both tandems, and the timing couldn't have been more perfect with Authors of Pain moving up to the main roster this week. They're a terrific tag team and will have no problem fitting in on NXT.

The following was sent in by ElkMania promoter Atlee Greene: Beverly, MA, April 28, 2018 – ElkMania returns to Beverly, MA with an action-packed night of professional wrestling, headlined by a thrilling All-Star Title bout between champion "The Maniacal" Jack Krueger and the meta-human super-villain, “Insane” Dick Lane. A Nightmare on Bow Street takes place on Saturday, April 28 at the Beverly/Salem Elks Lodge, 39 Bow Street, Beverly, MA. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Bell time is 7:00 pm. This event is a fundraiser for the wonderful animals at the Northeast Animal Shelter. At ElkMania 5, Krueger came within an eyelash of losing the All-Star Championship. Just as victory was in Lane’s grasp, a terrifying horror was unleashed leaving Lane beaten unmercifully. At A Nightmare on Bow Street, Dick Lane will get his rematch for Jack Krueger’s All-Star Title, as Lane believes he has the “anti-life equation” to thwart Krueger’s reign of terror. A Nightmare on Bow Street will also feature a clash between Bay State Champion Derek Simonetti (fighting out of Salem, MA) and the dangerous Alexander Lee. Simonetti is a fan favorite and two-time champion, but the precision and sly tactics of Lee could prove this to be his toughest title defense. #AskGSM Edition #228: WrestleMania 34 Fallout, Nakamura Turns Heel, Superstar Shake-up, More4/11/2018 #AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week’s edition touches upon a variety of topics including:
Punishment Martinez def. Shane TaylorMartinez and Taylor are two of the better big men Ring of Honor has on its roster, so I was interested to see how they would fare against each other. Sure enough, this turned out to be a nice little match with a great pace. I thought it might on the slower side, but this was certainly more fun than it was boring or plodding. Martinez almost always impresses and is protected more often than not, so I was happy he emerged victorious here. Jay Lethal def. Caprice ColemanBefore the bout, Coleman hosted Coleman's Pulpit with Lethal and it was... interesting. Coleman was over-the-top obnoxious in an attempt to infuriate Lethal so he could garner "ratings." Well, it worked, or at least in getting Lethal mad, not the ratings part. That then led to a match where Lethal was aggressive throughout as a result of Coleman pissing him off. Lethal was mostly on offense, which was nice, but this didn't need to last as long as it did because Coleman is a non-player.
