NXT Champion Johnny Gargano and Matt Riddle Attacked Undisputed EraUndisputed Era are officially back on the same page, at least according to Adam Cole. I thought it was the wrong call to have them tease tension in the first place. We'll see if it leads anywhere or if it was just a red herring. At any rate, this was an entertaining segment with some strong back-and-forth between Cole and Gargano. I figured Riddle was being written off NXT TV with the Undisputed Era attack until after TakeOver: XXV, but he'll instead be facing Roderick Strong one-on-one at the event, which should be stellar. This also set up the night's tag team main event. Mansoor def. Sean MalutaMaluta looked liked the third Uso brother here. In all seriousness, the guy is talented but has always been brought in to make others look good. Mansoor had an impressive outing against Dominik Dijakovic a few weeks ago and it appears he'll be getting a bit of a push going forward. He's an exciting high-flier and will be one to watch in the weeks to come. This was short, sweet, and exactly what it needed to be.

Travis Banks def. Joseph Conners to Qualify for the WWE United Kingdom Championship No. 1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way MatchAs I've noted several times in the past, Conners largely does nothing for me and bores me to tears more often than not. Thankfully, Banks is talented enough that he was able to make this passable, even if the first half or so felt like it dragged. Needless to say, Banks winning was the right outcome, and I'd love for him to earn a future shot at the WWE United Kingdom Championship considering he has yet to contend for the title. Noam Dar def. Mark AndrewsI loved the hell out of their first encounter before it was cut short due to both men suffering injuries. I'm happy that their feud isn't over yet and that Dar has officially returned to his roots as a heel, as seen here. Although this wasn't as exciting as their previous outing, it was well-wrestled and was probably the second of many matches to come between them, so I can see them building to a bout where they're allowed to all out down the road. Dar feigning an injury in this match after what happened last time was smart and gives Andrews a reason to want a rematch.
#AskGSM Edition #286: 24/7 Championship, Brock Lesnar as Mr. Money in the Bank, Page vs. PAC, More5/22/2019 #AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week’s edition touches upon a variety of topics including:
ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Villain Enterprises def. Jay Lethal, ROH World Television Champion Jeff Cobb and RushLethal, Cobb and Rush are a really random trio and I have no idea how they managed to earn themselves a shot at the six-man tag titles, but hey, I can't complain because this match was excellent. It had a frantic pace and was all action from start to finish. It's easy to forget that the six-man titles are a thing sometimes because of little they're featured, but Villain Enterprises pulled out another top-notch performance here. PCO pinning Lethal for the win was notable, even though his ROH World Championship with Matt Taven has come and gone. Afterward, Kenny King attacked Lethal and I'm totally fine with that as a feud. ROH World Champion Matt Taven def. Flip GordonThe video packages that played hyping up Gordon as well as Taven's title win were terrific. It gave this bout a big fight feel even if the finish felt slightly predictable. Gordon never ceases to deliver in high profile matches and this was no exception. Taven tends to be hit or miss, but this was going very well up until the lame finish. The Kingdom interfering and aiding Taven to victory was weak. If that's what the company has in store for his title reign, then I don't have high hopes.
