Jordynne Grace def. Kiera HoganI've been digging the rivalry Graces and Hogan have been having in recent weeks and this was another entertaining encounter from them. I found Madison Rayne to be a distraction on commentary, but she's involved in this story too, so her presence here was needed. This was a real good opener for the show and I liked that Grace beat Hogan with an inside cradle as it protected Hogan in defeat and left the door open for the feud to continue. Tessa Blanchard Attacked Sami CallihanWith their win in last week's Mash-Up Tournament, Blanchard and Callihan will now face off one-on-one at next Friday's Unbreakable special to determine the new number one contender to the Impact World Championship. Callihan did most of the talking here, but it was Blanchard was the one who stood tall in the end. This was a simple yet strong segment that got me excited for their rematch. It may seemed far-fetched on paper, but considering how close Blanchard came to victory at Slammiversary, it's very possible she beats Callihan this time around.

Yoshi Tatsu def. Shelton BenjaminThis was Tatsu's official debut on WWE TV as well as Benjamin's first bout back on ECW in over a year. Tatsu was one of the few wrestlers that was introduced on the ECW brand as part of then-general manager Tiffany's New Superstar Initiative and he made an immediate impact by beating Benjamin in his debut. This wasn't much of a match at all, as Benjamin spent most of it mocking Tatsu's Japanese mannerisms, but it was a big win for Tatsu, nonetheless. Abraham Washington Hosted The Abraham Washington Show with The Bella TwinsGood lord, I vividly remember The Abraham Washington Show and how horrible it was. Props to Washington for attempting to make the most of what he was given, but he was incredibly annoying more often than not and I can't recall a single installment that got anyone over. Hell, look no farther than this segment for proof. Washington interrogated Brie and Nikki the entire time about who was the smarter one of the two as well as who had their first kiss first and nonsense like that. In other words, it was a complete waste of time.
Jonathan Gresham def. Jeff Cobb, Kenny King and Dalton Castle in a Four Corner Survival MatchMaybe it's because we haven't seen a ton of him in Ring of Honor since his loss to Matt Taven at Best in the World, but I feel Cobb has cooled off considerably lately. Gresham was the real star of this match in my opinion and had a strong showing. King and Castle also looked good here, but I had no clue what brought these men together because there's no existing rivalries at the moment. Like he did at Best in the World, Gresham again resorted to underhanded tactics to beat King, so it's clear a heel turn is on the horizon for him (and possibly for Jay Lethal if their interaction later in the show was any indication). Soldiers of Savagery def. Primal FearSoldiers of Savagery have been completely dominant since their arrival in ROH and that was once again the case here. They didn't even wait for the bell to ring to start beating down their opponents and ultimately made short work of them. This was a solid squash for S.O.S., though it didn't provide anything new regarding the potential alliance that was teased between them and Bully Ray a few weeks ago.
Noam Dar def. Kenny WilliamsDar recently criticized Williams for falling short to Kassius Ohno, imploring him to utilize underhanded tactics to get ahead in his matches. That was cost him here, as Dar hit Williams with a revere low blow behind the referee's back to pick up the victory. Even though it wasn't anything too flashy, they had a pretty good match with entertaining action. Dar's dirty win prolongs the program as well. Jinny, Jazzy Gabert and Kay Lee Ray def. NXT UK Women's Champion Toni Storm, Piper Niven and Xia BrooksideBrookside has had her fair share of issues with Jinny and Gabert lately while Ray and Storm are set to clash for the NXT UK Women's Championship at TakeOver: Cardiff, so this was an effective way to further two feuds with one match. Throwing Niven in there was a great idea as I enjoyed her interaction with Gabert and hope they are headed for an eventual one-on-one outing. This had a really fun pace, all six women looked good, and the heels going over was the right call.
