Drew McIntyre def. Sheamus in a Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match to Earn an Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Opportunity at Clash at the CastleMcIntyre and Sheamus never cease to bring the best out of each other. Yes, they've had what feels like a million matches over the last year and a half, but they always deliver and this was no exception. In fact, this was one of my favorite encounters of theirs. It was basically an Irish-themed Street Fight. They made excellent use of the weapons around ringside and beat the holy hell out of each other. I'm actually happy in retrospect this wasn't saved for SummerSlam because I doubt it would have been given nearly as much time. McIntyre winning was a forgone conclusion, but Sheamus almost had me convinced he had it won when he hit the Brogue Kick before McIntyre kicked out. Well done.

Javier Bernal def. Myles BorneAlthough both competitors have had their fair share of matches on this show and can hold their own in the ring, they're both extremely generic. It's weird because NXT 2.0 is loaded with goofy characters, so I wish some of these guys and girls can find a happy medium. Bernal cheating to win here should be a step in the right direction. They didn't have a chance to do much in the four minutes they were allotted, but this was decent while it lasted.
Eddie Edwards def. Ace AustinIn addition to the ongoing rivalry between Honor No More and Bullet Club, there's a lot of bad blood between these two from 2019. In fact, Edwards was Austin's first real rival in IMPACT. Thus, it was no surprise they worked well together here and had an excellent encounter. This was another small preview of what to expect when the two factions meet again at Emergence and I enjoyed it.
NXT UK Tag Team Champions Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen def. Mark Andrews and Wild BoarI know Andrews and Wild Boar haven't been teaming very long in NXT UK, but I'd honestly prefer to see them as the NXT UK Tag Team Champions at this point. I know Briggs and Jensen are holding the gold to bring more awareness of the brand to the NXT 2.0 audience, but they're not interesting at all and are mediocre in the ring. This was well worked, but there was nothing special about it and the crowd didn't seem to care much, either.
