NWA United States Tag Team Champions The Fixers def. Gold RushhhGold Rushhh consist of Jordan Clearwater and Marshe Rockett from Idolmania Sports Management. The group does nothing for me, but those two are at least talented competitors and thus I had no issue with them getting a shot at the NWA United States Tag Team Championship. This was a good match and a nice first defense for The Fixers. It would have been silly for them to lose the belts so soon after winning them.

Darby Allin and Sting def. House of Black (Brody King and Buddy Matthews) in a No Disqualification MatchIt was wise to have this open the episode while the crowd was still somewhat hot/awake (this was taped immediately after Wednesday's Dynamite in the same venue). Unfortunately, they didn't sound like they were into most of what we saw until the end. It was a fun brawl, but we see this sort of stuff all the time in AEW and, for me, they've lost their luster. The Great Muta showing up and saving Sting was an awesome touch given their history and I'm happy the audience appreciated that. House of Black have eaten defeat quite a bit lately, so let's move them on from this feud and onto something where they can win.
Dante Chen def. Bryson MontanaChen has settled nicely into his enhancement role on Level Up where he helps the lesser-experienced prospects get better. I haven't seen too much of Montana yet on his own to get a grasp of what he's capable of, but he's passable from what I can gather and I thought he had a decent showing here. This was an adequate opener with a nice pace and the crowd was into Chen.
Sami Zayn Acknowledged Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman ReignsThis was truly tremendous television. First of all, it was an awesome visual seeing all of The Bloodline in the same place at the same time since Solo Sikoa was added at Clash at the Castle. It was a solid segment to start the show that only got greater by Reigns teasing that Zayn would be booted right then before giving him a new "Honorary Uce" shirt instead. That was a wonderful swerve. The betrayal is coming eventually, but I'm happy they're holding off a little longer.
