Johnny Gargano def. Damian Priest in a Devil's Playground Match to Win the NXT North American ChampionshipThis was essentially a Falls Count Anywhere match, though I could have sworn WWE nicknamed Hell in a Cell "The Devil's Playground" at one point a few years ago. Nonetheless, this was a great opening match and on the level of their TakeOver 31 encounter from earlier in the month. They made excellent use of the stipulation and constantly kept things entertaining. My guess for the guy wearing the Scream mask was Austin Theory because of how Gargano nodded at him in approval a few weeks ago, but is he really that tall? Either way, it's a nice hook. Gargano previously failed to win the NXT North American Championship three times this year, so he almost had to win it here. Yes, Priest was on a roll as champ, but he can always regain the gold after being in chase mode for a bit.

#AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews, answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week's edition touches upon a variety of topics including:
Impact World Champion Rich Swann def. Eric YoungThe show started with Swann and Young brawling backstage, and although Young injured Swann again, Swann agreed to defend his title against him right then and there. Their backstage brawl spilling into the ring was a hot way to kick off the night, but the brief championship match they had that followed was completely pointless, especially if the rivalry is supposed to continue (and it seems like it will considering they're on opposing teams in a tag matchup next week). Their Bound for Glory main event was so great that I have no idea why IMPACT decided to rush into a rematch at the beginning of this episode and not have it be anything substantial.
The Dark Order (Stu Grayson and Evil Uno) def. Top FlightI feel like it isn't often that we get Grayson and Uno in action, which is weird seeing as how they're the best duo of anyone in Dark Order. Hell, they were AEW World Tag Team Championship contenders not too long ago, so I'm surprised they don't wrestle as regularly as the other members of the group. Nonetheless, this was a well-wrestled opener with Top Flight having a nice showing before eating defeat.
Drew McIntyre Attacked The Miz and John MorrisonI really, really hope McIntyre won't lose his main-event status despite no longer being WWE Champion. I hated what happened to Kofi Kingston after he dropped the title last year and thus McIntyre shouldn't suffer the same fate. He cut a pretty standard promo here addressing his defeat at the hands of Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell and Miz and Morrison also played their roles well. They did a decent job of setting up Miz vs. McIntyre for later in the night, but McIntyre getting the better of the two with ease at the end of this segment didn't do much to make them feel like threats.
