Randy Orton Attacked The Judgment DayOrton was in his element before getting injured last year and I'm glad he's going to continue being that fun-loving guy based on what we saw here. He looked super stoked to be back in this segment and interestingly established that he has unfinished business with The Bloodline. Does that mean he'll be pulling double duty between Raw and SmackDown for the time being or was he just planting the seeds for a future feud with Roman Reigns? I loved his confrontation with Rhea Ripley as you know she'll be eating an RKO at some point. This also set up Orton vs. Dominik Mysterio later on in the night.

Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair and Shotzi def. Damage CTRL (Bayley, WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY, Asuka and Kairi Sane) in a WarGames MatchAs good as this was, a big reason why I wish WWE didn't do two WarGames matches in the same night is because the women get overshadowed almost every year and that was once again the case here. They all put forth a strong effort and delivered some really cool spots. My biggest issue with it was the overuse of weapons, per usual. Not every single person who enters needs a weapon, but I understand WWE wants that to be a part of the WarGames gimmick. Bayley had a strong showing and having her take the bullet for her team plants the seeds for that inevitable babyface turn. Being a Raw Superstar, Lynch didn't need to win for her team, but that's a minor criticism.
Claudio Castagnoli def. Daniel Garcia in a Continental Classic Blue League MatchThis is what we need to see more of Garcia in the Continental Classic and beyond. I know his dumb dance is over with the audience, but there's a way where he can showcase his personality while also having great matches. This was a very enjoyable opener that started the show strong and Garcia was made to look credible in defeat. Both guys are built to shine in the Continental Classic.
FTW Champion Hook def. Rocky Romero (Non-Title)Romero is currently a champion in both MLW and CMLL, but he didn't come out with either of his titles here. This wasn't even for the FTW Championship, which is shocking because it feels rare for champions in AEW to have non-title matches nowadays. Romero is obviously experienced and is a good person for Hook to be working with. There was no story, but they had a nice match and it gave Hook a notable win. it continues to feel like he's spinning his wheels right now, though.
