MSK def. Drake Maverick and Killian Dain in a Men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinal MatchMaverick and Dain are developing into a really fun team that can flip the switch from goofy to serious whenever they deem necessary. As for MSK, they're such a blast to watch and are already off to a strong start in NXT. We found out a bit more about them last week, though we still have no idea what MSK stands for (unless I missed something). MSK needed the win more and Maverick and Dain can afford the loss. As an opener between two babyface teams, I enjoyed this and the result was the right one.

#AskGSM Edition #374: Will John Cena Return at Royal Rumble 2021 and Compete at WrestleMania 37?1/27/2021 #AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews, answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week's edition touches upon a variety of topics including:
Sami Callihan, Ken Shamrock, Chris Bey and Moose Attacked Impact World Champion Rich Swann, Tommy Dreamer and Willie MackSwann mentioned that the upcoming No Surrender special on February 13th will fall on Dreamer's 50th birthday and because of that he'd like to defend the Impact World Championship against him on that show. Is it random? Yes, but at least he tried to justify it. Besides, it's a one-off main event for Dreamer, and although I'm not in favor of that usually in 2021, Swann should be able to get a decent match out of him. The rest of this segment played out nicely and set the stage for the night's eight-man tag team main event.
Miro def. Fuego Del SolIt isn't often that Miro wrestles on Dark (I believe this is only his second appearance ever on the show), so it was wise to kick off the episode with such star power (or whatever star power he has left). Fuego scored very minimal offense early on, but otherwise, this was a complete squash for Miro and therefore exactly what it needed to be. This is the Miro I want to see more of in AEW, sans Kip Sabian and .. Oh, and Charles Taylor was at ringside, too.
