By Graham "GSM" Matthews Hideo Itami def. Bull Dempsey Was the sole purpose Dempsey was pushed was so he could be fed to Baron Corbin? He hasn't been the same since then, and his three losses to Corbin definitely don't help matters. It was a fine showcase match for Itami and it's nice to see him adapting more and more to the WWE style as time goes on. I'm also glad his feud with Tyler Breeze seems to be continuing as it gives both guys direction for the foreseeable future. The Lucha Dragons def. Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger The two teams worked a fun little match, but nothing we haven't seen before from them. Now that they're no longer tag team champions, I'm not sure what there is left for them to do in NXT like The Ascension. Maybe they're around for the next set of shows, but beyond that they might be exclusive to the main roster. Of course, this match was the catalyst for the random split between Jordon and Dillinger.

By Graham "GSM" Matthews WWE Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Tyson Kidd def. The Lucha Dragons (Non-title) These two teams were the perfect match for each other and they had as great of a bout as I expected them to. The Lucha Dragons' offense was exciting and Kalisto was the absolute star of the match. Kidd and Cesaro were also able to pull of some impressive maneuvers of their own, making for a very fun matchup from start to finish. The Lucha Dragons had such an awesome showing that they lost nothing in defeat and it gave the tag champs a nice win. Here's hoping this isn't the last we see of these tandems in the ring together. The Bella Twins def. Paige and Emma This was the match we should have gotten on Raw. They got a good chunk of time here, but I would've settled for anything longer than a minute in their previous match. Paige and Emma are great partners because they have that storied friendship and are also terrific wrestlers. Meanwhile, The Bella Twins, while I'm not their biggest fans, play their roles well and are good in the ring when working with the right opponents. This was a very good match from the ladies, or at least by main roster Diva standards. It's a shame we don't get these kind of matches from the women on Raw or SmackDown. By Graham "GSM" Matthews The Authority Confronted Randy Orton Perhaps it's just me, but Orton seems more motivated than ever, and I'm excited to see what he brings to the table in this anti-hero role. The Authority kicking off the show (again) was more of the same, but it was to be expected given their history with Orton. Technically, Orton never officially turned face, so him attacking The Authority would be an effective way to do so, but why not just do the "business meeting" right then and there? Orton agreeing to meet with them later in the night felt like an anticlimactic way to end the segment. Dolph Ziggler def. Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett (Non-title) The silence Barrett received when he came out spoke volumes. It's discouraging how much momentum Barrett has lost since he returned from injury, and I blame that all on the booking of his character. The match was good and they picked up the pace down the stretch, but the fans' lack of reason to care about Barrett made it suffer. Plus, they've had better matches in the past. I'd be down for a Triple Threat Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania between these two and Dean Ambrose, as long as R-Truth doesn't get involved. I have no desire to see him in the title picture, though an argument can be made that the belt's worthless so to hell with it.
