Last WrestleMania season, I took on the tough task of ranking my top 31 favorite matches in 'Mania history. And this wasn't a single article, either. Every day in the month of March, I wrote an article breaking down each bout, culminating in my favorite WrestleMania match of all-time on March 31, mere days ahead of WrestleMania 32. I enjoyed putting the series together, despite the long time it took to do it.
This year, I thought I would do something a bit different, yet not quite as arduous. Instead of looking at 'Mania matches I loved, why not talk about those I wasn't too fond of? And I'm not talking about matches I didn't care about, either; I'm referring to bouts that I straight-up did not like. For my WrestleMania Recall series, every 'Mania match ever was eligible, but this list will only take into consideration matches from WrestleMania 25 onward, because that was my first Show of Shows as a fan. Trust me, there are many, many matches I could include from those early installments, so I decided to limit it to the last eight years of 'Mania only.

Davey Richards def. SuicideWhile I honestly couldn't care less about the Suicide character returning, it was weird for him to lose his first two matches back. That said, I don't desire to see him get pushed, so he's fine in an enhancement role. He was able to incorporate a few of his signature spots, but the match was all about Richards as it should have been. He has done well with his new heel character thus far and I enjoy his pairing with Angelina Love. They do a great job of making fans hate them. Shera, Laredo Kid and Garza Jr def. Idris Abraham, Fallah Bahh and Mario BokaraI was initially skeptical about how well this match would go over when three of the combatants were total unknowns and two of the other three just debuted last week, but this turned into a really fun match. Abraham, Bahh and Bokara all impressed in their own way and each of them were given time to shine. Shera does zero for me, but Kid and Garza are great and Garza is especially entertaining to watch. The simultaneous moonsaults at the end were crazy cool. They're a part of the tag team title chase, so it was logical for their team to go over.
Andrade "Cien" Almas def. Oney LorcanAlmas and Lorcan had a pair of matches late last year and earlier this year, but this was easily the best of the bunch. Although Almas has been directionless since TakeOver: San Antonio and Lorcan is a glorified enhancement talent, both of them are exceptional wrestlers and they had really fun chemistry together here. I was glad they were given the time to showcase their skills, and this was definitely the most lively the UCF crowd has been for this entire taping. That alone was an impressive accomplishment by Almas and Lorcan. NXT Women's Champion Asuka def. Priscilla Zungia (NOn-title)Zungia looks a lot like that chick who debuted as part of LAX on Impact Wrestling last week. I wonder if it's the same girl? Either way, this wasn't much different than any other Asuka squash match aside from how she took her time dismantling her opponent and appeared to enjoy inflicting pain on her. That leads me to believe Asuka getting cocky at TakeOver: Orlando will be what costs her the NXT Women's Championship against Ember Moon.
#AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week’s edition touches upon a variety of topics including:
Silas Young and The Beer City Bruiser def. Cheeseburger and Will FerraraWhile this wasn't the most exciting opener, it was a well-wrestled matchup that effectively established Young and Bruiser as a threat to the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship. Cheeseburger and Ferrara sold well for the hard-hitting tandem and were able to score some offense as well. There hasn't been much buzz surrounding the six-man tag titles thus far, but I am interested to see who Young and Bruiser will recruit to be their partner at Supercard of Honor. Josh "The Goods" Woods def. Chris LeRusso in a Top Prospect Tournament Round 1 MatchAside from the 15 second interviews they receive, there isn't much to base these top prospects off of other than their in-ring ability. Both guys are decent enough from what I could tell in this match, but this was pretty basic stuff and they didn't do the best job of getting the crowd engaged in the action. Of the two, however, Woods did stand out to me more because he plays a badass and looks the part. The knockout finish was something different for Ring of Honor, so I appreciated that.
