NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis Called Out Trevor MurdochThe weekly verbal exchanges between these two have become a recurring highlight on Powerrr. Aldis is excellent in his role and Murdoch has emerged as a strong babyface. Aldis said he'd consider granting Murdoch a rematch for the NWA National Championship, but you could tell Murdoch has his sights set on a bigger prize at this point. This segment set the stage for the six-man tag team main event where if Murdoch would get his title rematch if he won but would have to go home for 30 days if he lost.

The Acclaimed def. Fuego Del Sol and D3I'm not going to lie, Max Caster's raps are one of the few things I look forward to about the Dark shows. His material isn't always the best, but they're almost always entertaining. Having them start the show was a smart call as it got me hooked from the get-go. They had an enjoyable outing per usual against Fuego and D3. They already failed to beat The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship a few months ago, but I'm glad they're at least maintaining a presence in the tag team division.
Braun Strowman def. T-Bar and Mace in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match by Disqualification; T-Bar and Mace def. Strowman and Drew McIntyre by Count-OutIt was supposed to be a tag team match originally, but Strowman and McIntyre argued beforehand, so it turned into a Handicap match with Strowman fending for himself. It wasn't long before T-Bar and Mace got themselves disqualified, which brought out McIntyre for some reason and turned it into a tag team matchup. That wasn't very good either and the heels won that by count-out. In other words, this was almost an exact repeat of what happened last week, except with the roles reversed in some cases. Also in other words, this entire segment was a waste of 20 minutes, especially since it didn't leave me looking forward to McIntyre vs. Strowman later in the night.
Rey Fenix def. Chuck TaylorBest Friends are currently embroiled in a rivalry with Death Triangle, so not only was this a nice opener for the show featuring two notable names, it was logical. I wish the show was shorter so matches like this one were given more time. That said, I enjoyed it for what it was. Fenix should have won, so that was the correct outcome. Alex Abrahantes continues to kill it in his current role alongside The Lucha Brothers.
