Jordynne Grace def. Masha SlamovichIt was strange to see this match thrown out on the show with no real buildup despite this being a big feud in the Knockouts division six months ago. Slamovich went undefeated for nearly a year and now loses almost often and doesn't feel remotely special. I appreciate the lengths gone to in order to protect Slamovich in defeat here, but whatever mystique she had is gone. If nothing else, this was a very good match and a way to get Grace back on track following her loss at Rebellion.

ROH Women's World Champion Athena def. Lady Frost in an ROH Women's World Championship Proving Ground MatchFrost is always impressive and I was happy she was able to have a competitive match with Athena here, especially since a majority of Athena's matches are squashes (a formula that got old a while ago). She even came close to securing the win here, only to fall short in the end. If Frost isn't already signed to a deal, she should be. I continue to wish Athena wasn't so overexposed on ROH TV and the Dark shows. She wrestles weekly but doesn't do much that's new until an actual threat to her title emerges.
Dexter Lumis def. Joe GacyThese two have similarly creepy gimmicks, so this was an interesting match. For as much as I don't like Schism, Gacy can go in the ring. I just don't know how he'd translate to the main roster, so I'm hoping he isn't called up in the WWE Draft. This was a well-wrestled match. We probably should have expected Lumis to become a regular on Main Event following his feud with The Miz, as that's where he's been primarily relegated since then.
AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy def. BandidoFrom an in-ring standpoint, Cassidy is the strongest champion AEW has, especially with how frequently he defends his title. His matches are always top-tier and this was no exception. Bandido has barely been used by AEW since signing last year, but hopefully that will begin to change. He actually would have been a perfect fit as International champ, so the outcome wasn't so obvious. This was a very entertaining openeer.
