Kiera Hogan def. Allie RecksHogan is basically the sole "baddie" at this point with Red Velvet out injured for now and Leila Grey not cleared to compete last week on Dynamite. I like Hogan a lot and believe she has potential, so that's fine by me. She was able to score a rare win here in was a fairly short opener. It was what it needed to be to give her a minor credibility boost since I assume she's losing the next match she's in.

NWA World Women's Tag Team Champion Kenzie Paige def. Kaci LennoxPaige was without her partner here, but it ended up mattering since she won, anyway. I've seen Lennox in action previously in AEW and IMPACT and she's never really stood out from what I can remember, but she and Paige had a perfectly passable match here. It didn't serve a purpose, mind you, but it was a nice showcase for the women and it was wisely positioned as the opener since the later matches meant more.
The Miz and Logan Paul Brawled; Theory Confronted The BloodlineMiz and Paul already being shown brawling in the ring as soon as the show opened was really refreshing. You don't see that often in WWE, so it immediately sent the message that things are going to start changing slowly but surely creatively. The rest of this segment with Paul Heyman addressing Brock Lesnar ahead of SummerSlam and Roman Reigns berating Theory was fantastic. Reigns' line about Theory's "daddy" being gone was especially excellent and the crowd was hot for all of it.
Angelico and Private Party def. AR Fox, Liam Gray and Adrian AlanisAngelico and Private Party's connection with Andrade El Idolo still confuses me. I mean, The Andrade Family Office isn't a thing anymore, right? And if not, why are they teaming together at this point? Angelico will be forever utilized as an enhancement talent in AEW, but Private Party can be something with better booking. This was a nice little match and AR Fox making an appearance was notable. I'm mainly familiar with him from Lucha Underground and he's a terrific talent.
