WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton BrawledThis Kingston vs. Orton feud is quickly becoming a retread of the rivalry between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe from last year, except not as entertaining. It started out with the two focusing on their history from a decade ago, which I liked a lot, but Orton targeting Kingston's family doesn't seem original. Their backstage brawl was fine, but I'm not as excited for their upcoming encounter at Clash of Champions than I was their SummerSlam match. Ali def. Buddy Murphy in a King of the Ring First Round MatchAli and Murphy had a hell of a series of matches last year on 205 Live, so it was cool to see them rekindle their rivalry in the King of the Ring tournament. As expected, this was an absolute blast with both men going all out and letting their terrific chemistry shine through. I thought Murphy winning here was a given coming off his huge victory against Daniel Bryan last week, but apparently not. Ali advancing was a pleasant surprise, but I'm not a fan of the inconsistency with Murphy.

Lacey Evans def. Dana BrookeAh, this was one of those weeks where Brooke wasn't facing Sarah Logan so she took on Evans instead. Per usual, this wasn't very well wrestled. I appreciated their effort, but they have zero chemistry and it was just a poor outing on the whole. It's amazing how Evans went from feuding with the Raw Women's Champion to becoming a mainstay on the Main Event in the matter of a month. Titus O'Neil and Heath Slater def. Eric Young and Mojo RawleyRawley has barely been in action on WWE TV the last few months, so I think it's safe to say his push has been abandoned entirely. The same can be said for Slater, who has been largely forgotten about on the Raw roster since splitting from Rhyno. These two teams were completely random and the match was exactly what you would expect. There wasn't anything technically wrong with it, but it screamed throwaway and had no sense of urgency whatsoever.
Sasha Banks and Natalya BrawledI loved Banks bringing up all the rumors surrounding her absence and how she reportedly wasn't being happy with her spot in the company, but I was surprised she went as far as to outright bury the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. We know they don't mean anything, but should talent really be acknowledging that on television? Nevertheless, I wasn't a big fan of her delivery here. She has cut better heel promos in the past, so hopefully that's something she can improve on going forward. The brawl was fine and served as a nice preview of what to expect in their match later in the night. Ricochet def. Drew McIntyre in a King of the Ring First Round MatchBoth of these guys are terrific, so I'm not at all surprised that their first ever one-on-one encounter was excellent. This had a great pace and featured strong showings from both men. McIntyre wasn't my pick to win the whole thing, but I did think he'd go farther than the first round. Thus, Ricochet winning in clean fashion was really cool to see. I have no idea what that means for McIntyre, but on the bright side, Ricochet vs. Samoa Joe (in a rematch from Stomping Grounds) should be a blast.
The Bouncers def. Coast to Coast and Okumura & Felino in a Three-Way Tag Team MatchI thought Coast to Coast teasing a heel turn a while ago would lead to them gaining steam again, but that has yet to be the case, unfortunately. Instead, they've been treading water and continue to lose whenever they're in action. Okumura and Felino competed at Saturday Night at Center Stage and had another solid showing here. The Bouncers have momentum as babyfaces at the moment, so it made sense for them to win. ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion PCO Attacked SecurityThey're trying to tell the story that PCO got concussed (or something along those lines) at the Saturday Night at Center Stage event the night prior and now he's officially lost his mind. He randomly came out and starting attacking security (nearly putting one of them through a table) before Flip Gordon convinced him to stop. I have no clue where this is going, but I'm mildly curious to find out.
