Sasha Banks and Natalya Brawled

I loved Banks bringing up all the rumors surrounding her absence and how she reportedly wasn't being happy with her spot in the company, but I was surprised she went as far as to outright bury the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. We know they don't mean anything, but should talent really be acknowledging that on television? Nevertheless, I wasn't a big fan of her delivery here. She has cut better heel promos in the past, so hopefully that's something she can improve on going forward. The brawl was fine and served as a nice preview of what to expect in their match later in the night.

Ricochet def. Drew McIntyre in a King of the Ring First Round Match

Both of these guys are terrific, so I'm not at all surprised that their first ever one-on-one encounter was excellent. This had a great pace and featured strong showings from both men. McIntyre wasn't my pick to win the whole thing, but I did think he'd go farther than the first round. Thus, Ricochet winning in clean fashion was really cool to see. I have no idea what that means for McIntyre, but on the bright side, Ricochet vs. Samoa Joe (in a rematch from Stomping Grounds) should be a blast.

The Bouncers def. Coast to Coast and Okumura & Felino in a Three-Way Tag Team Match

I thought Coast to Coast teasing a heel turn a while ago would lead to them gaining steam again, but that has yet to be the case, unfortunately. Instead, they've been treading water and continue to lose whenever they're in action. Okumura and Felino competed at Saturday Night at Center Stage and had another solid showing here. The Bouncers have momentum as babyfaces at the moment, so it made sense for them to win.

ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion PCO Attacked Security

They're trying to tell the story that PCO got concussed (or something along those lines) at the Saturday Night at Center Stage event the night prior and now he's officially lost his mind. He randomly came out and starting attacking security (nearly putting one of them through a table) before Flip Gordon convinced him to stop. I have no clue where this is going, but I'm mildly curious to find out.

ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Villain Enterprises def. Lifeblood

Brody King and PCO represented Villain Enterprises here while Mark Haskins and Tracy Williams represented Lifeblood. At one point in the match, PCO did a suicide dive to the outside of the ring even though there wasn't anyone there. I understood what they were going for with that, but it was a dumb spot for 51-year-old to do. Other than that, this was an excellent opener and another awesome installment in this ongoing rivalry between Villain Enterprises and Lifeblood. I could watch them work together forever.

ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes Confronted The Rock 'N' Roll Express

I honestly don't have much of a desire to see The Rock 'N' Roll Express challenge for the ROH World Tag Team Championship in 2019, but they were a nice attraction for Ring of Honor's Nashville show. Plus, they have history with The Briscoes from the Crockett Cup earlier this year, so it makes sense. This was a solid segment that effectively set up their championship clash for the next night.

Michael Elgin vs. Rhino Ended in a Double Count-Out

I didn't have high hopes for this feud when it started (especially since it seemed like a step down for Elgin), but it's been better than expected so far. This turned out to be a hell of an opener with both men having strong performances and the crowd being into the action. I'm normally not a big fan of double count-out finishes, but this keeps their program alive and their post-match brawl felt hot.

Impact World Tag Team Champions The North def. Reno Scum

I honestly forgot Reno Scum were with IMPACT earlier this year, but apparently, they were never under contract. Don Callis mentioned how this was their third time with the company and I'm stunned they keep getting brought back. They've never done anything for me personally, but The North are talented enough that they were able to make this a solid match. Reno Scum once again yet failed to impress yet The North were terrific as always and retained their titles in clean fashion.

Jordan Myles Confronted Undisputed Era

It made sense to kick off the first fresh show coming out of NXT TakeOver: Toronto II with Undisputed Era considering they were the focal point of the event. Roderick Strong, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish all complained about getting screwed out of the NXT North American and NXT Tag Team Championships respectively and how they all deserve rematches. Before they could it make it to the back, Myles emerged and went face-to-face with Adam Cole, signifying that he's chosen to contend for the NXT Championship. That match will take place on NXT TV in two weeks.

Damian Priest def. Mansoor

I was just thinking earlier this week about how Mansoor hasn't been featured on NXT TV whatsoever since his big Battle Royal win at Super ShowDown in June. That's not to say he should have been factored into any TakeOver plans, but they could have gotten him on the show at least once or twice to capitalize off his momentum. This was all about Priest and getting his offense over following his victory against Keith Lee a few weeks ago. The overall presentation of his character needs some tweaking before he can get to that next level, though.
