The Creed Brothers def. The Dyad in a Steel Cage MatchBy virtue of their victory, the Creeds have gotten their jobs back in NXT. The outcome was never in doubt, and they've wasted their time with this program, but I guess it was Shawn Michaels' way of keeping them busy until their inevitable main roster call-up. Then again, I can't imagine they get moved to Raw or SmackDown so soon after returning to NXT TV. Nonetheless, this was a good cage match. This was a nice swan song if The Dyad are indeed on their way out. Their contracts are up in October and I can see Joe Gacy kicking them out of Schism within the next few weeks to write them off.

Damian Priest def. Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Sami ZaynSay what you will about The Judgment Day’s feud with Zayn and Kevin Owens being done to death in recent months, but it was cool to get a first-time-ever one-on-one encounter from Priest and Zayn here. They had an enjoyable opener and Zayn was protected in defeat thanks to JD McDonagh’s interference at ringside, though Priest didn’t save McDonagh from Zayn and Owens afterward. It was an interesting development. Priest and Finn Balor will challenge for the Undisputed WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at Payback.
Pre-Show: "Speedball" Mike Bailey def. Alan Angels Angels has been playing the heel role well on his own, even though he hasn't won a ton of matches. This was no exception, but I thought he and Bailey put together a nice match that was wisely positioned on the pre-show. Bailey hasn't done a whole lot for a while now, but wins like this will keep him busy and eventually earn him another shot at the Impact X-Division Championship down the road.
Pre-Show: Jordan Clearwater Won an NWA National Championship No. 1 Contender's Battle RoyalThis played out as your typical Battle Royal, though there were a lot more "betrayals" than I thought there would be with tag team partners throwing each other out. It was the NWA's way of getting everyone on the card again for Night 2 and had something at stake, so it served its purpose. Clearwater was an acceptable choice to win as he hasn't been involved in much of note since losing the NWA Television Championship. Zicky Dice returning for the first time in a few years to take part was cool, too.
Zero Hour: Powerhouse Hobbs and Miro Signed the Contract for Their Match at All OutThe pre-show started earlier than advertised and you could tell there was barely anyone in the building by this point, so this was better than doing the actual match between the two. It's smart that they're saving it for All Out instead. This was a fairly basic contract signing with Miro standing tall over Hobbs and the security guards, but at least it hyped their upcoming clash and added to the bad blood between the two.
