Enzo Amore Addressed WWE Cruiserweight Champion KalistoObviously, Enzo is the strongest talker in the Cruiserweight division at the moment, so while he didn't say anything here that we haven't heard before, it effectively hyped up his WWE Cruiserweight Championship rematch with Kalisto at TLC as well as the night's tag team main event. I wouldn't normally kick off a Cruiserweight show with a talking segment, but this served its purpose. Rich Swann def. Gentleman Jack Gallagher by DisqualificationI don't think I've mentioned this before, but I really like how Gallagher completely ditched the colorful trunks upon turning heel and is now wearing street clothes. Those little changes make the biggest differences in my mind. At any rate, this was a fun little match and a nice preview of what to expect in the tag team match at TLC. The non-finish protected both men and the post-match bedlam that ensued was entertaining to watch.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens Confronted SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel BryanWith this show emanating from Seattle, you had to know Washington native Daniel Bryan would receive a raucous reaction from the live crowd and it was so cool to hear. They almost refused to stop chanting for him even long after he picked up the microphone. Zayn and Owens' promos were fantastic and it was wise to have the newly turned Zayn run down the hometown hero, but how badly do you think Bryan wished he could have fired back? It's no secret he wants to wrestle again and sometimes I feel WWE does this on purpose because they're well-aware he's going to leave and compete elsewhere when his contract is up next year. Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Naomi def. SmackDown Women's Champion Natalya, Lana and TaminaIt's been well-documented that I absolutely hate it when there's no individual stories in the women's division and when they're all thrown together in one multi-woman match. Yes, Charlotte is currently chasing the SmackDown Women's Championship, but there was no reason for the rest of these women to be involved because they have no established issues. The actual match was fine for what it was, but it's difficult to get invested in the division these days.
Rhyno def. Dash WilderRhyno and Heath Slater vs. Wilder just might be the most ruthless rivalry in the history of Main Event. Okay, not really, but it has lasted a long time. I'd be more complimentary of the "program" if Wilder won a match here and there, because so far, he has lost to Rhyno and Slater every time they've clashed. On the bright side, the crowd was way more into this than I expected them to be and made it more fun as a result. Wilder losing so many singles matches won't matter once he's reunited with Scott Dawson soon enough. Mustafa Ali def. Drew GulakThese two had a great feud on 205 Live not too long ago and the dynamic they have as characters was why it was so wonderful. Similar to during Rhyno vs. Slater, the audience actually reacted to both men and specifically Gulak's "No Chanting" sign, which was cool. Gulak and Ali produced a nice little match with the time they were given and it looked like they were legitimately enjoying themselves out there.
The Shield Interrupted Raw General Manager Kurt AngleI thought we would have to wait until TLC to hear "Sierra Hotel India Echo Lima Delta The Shield" and see all three guys wearing their tactical vests again, but apparently not, and I have no complaints about that. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins cut good, intense promos in this segment to hype up their first match back together at TLC against The Miz, The Bar and Braun Strowman. Angle also advertised the Steel Cage main event and the Raw Tag Team Championship match for later in the night. Jason Jordan, Apollo Crews and Titus O'Neil def. Elias, Karl Anderson and Luke GallowsThese are two feuds I honestly couldn't care less about at the moment, and combining them both in a multi-man match didn't change that. The in-ring action was actually decent and it received a better reaction than it would have later on in the night, but I'm almost positive that we'll either get a rematch of this or Jordan and Matt Hardy vs. Anderson and Gallows again on the TLC Kickoff show.
