#AskGSM Edition #365: Who Has Stepped Up the Most in WWE and AEW During the Pandemic Era?11/25/2020 #AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews, answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week's edition touches upon a variety of topics including:

Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz def. Sea Stars in an Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarterfinal MatchI wasn't very familiar with Sea Stars prior to their IMPACT debut here, but I've heard nothing good things and I remember Ashley Vox from the appearances she made in the NWA not too long ago. Sea Stars were impressive and I hope they're brought back by IMPACT. That said, Hogan and Steelz would be the perfect fit as Impact Knockouts Tag Team Champions, so it was necessary that they advanced here. It was a decent outing on the whole.
Big Swole def. VipressI believe this marked AEW's debut. She had a solid showing and looked impressive against Swole. Speaking of Swole, her matches are always well-wrestled, but it's hard to care considering how she's floundering at the moment. She was getting consistent mic time on Dynamite, Dark and even Being The Elite for a while, but now she's just an afterthought in the women's division. It's nice she's maintaining momentum with wins, but eventually she'll have to move forward.
Adam Pearce Addressed Team Raw's Survivor Series WinIt should have been said before Survivor Series that Raw's men's team could be in the running for a shot at the WWE Championship. That would have actually raised the stakes a bit and made me care about who won. This was a decent segment that served its purpose in establishing what the night's qualifying matches would be for next week's Triple Threat match and explaining why Braun Strowman would not be a part of them. And no, I doubt anyone actually cares about Pearce getting attacked when his role on WWE TV has yet to be established on the show. Can we just label him the general manager and call it a day?
