#AskGSM Edition #417: Should Rhea Ripley Be Next to Challenge Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's Title?11/24/2021 #AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews, answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week's edition touches upon a variety of topics including:

NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa def. Grayson Waller (Non-Title)Waller cut his best promo in NXT to date beforehand. He's been positioned as a babyface for the better part of the past few months and he's just so much better as a heel with this gimmick of his. He called out all of the NXT 1.0 guys and that segued nicely into this match with Ciampa, which was very enjoyable. Waller took the champ to the limit and Ciampa brought the best out of him. This reminded me of NXT pre-relaunch and what I think we should be getting more of in this new NXT.
The Dark Order (John Silver and Alex Reynolds) def. Shawn Dean and Carlie BravoI feel like Silver and Reynolds don't get the credit they deserve for being such a terrific tag team. Maybe it's because they're too goofy as characters, but if they can develop more of a serious side, they could absolutely be more of a threat to the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Dean is signed to a full-time deal with AEW I believe, but we barely see him in the ring. This was a well-wrestled opener, and because Dean is somewhat established, I didn't have a problem with this being given some time.
Nick Aldis def. NWA National Champion Chris Adonis (Non-Title)Adonis was apparently scheduled to face Da Pope, but Pope said he agreed to pull out of the match so Aldis could face him instead. Aldis vs. Adonis is a match I would've advertised in advance personally, but it makes sense from a storyline standpoint that Adonis wouldn't have agreed to it had they done it that way. I'm also not crazy about a champion losing a non-title match to a guy who won't get a title shot, but because he and Aldis are rivals, I'll excuse it in this case. It was a quality contest that got Aldis one step closer to Thom Latimer at Hard Times 2.
